Hi Dear Friends. Welcome to China!

My name is Judy Dong. I am an experienced independent Interpreter, Trip Planner and Travel Guide for whoever speak English or Chinese. With plenty of years' working experience in international tourism and interpreting fields, I offer all types of services for private customized tours, interpretating and translating, Private transportation as well as business, conference and sourcing, tutoring services.

Personally, I am an active local who loves outdoor activities, which enbale me to be more open-minded and optimistic towards whatever happen around with a big heart. Being an easy-going person and a fan of diversified culture, I have met various kinds of people and learnt plenty of wonderful stories from all over the world. Through trips organized by me, you will not only get to know China, but develop deeper insights of the genuine life in China that is different from what you have mostly learnt through the public media. Being born in a big traditional Chinese family which witnessed the transition of China from a chaotic era to a peaceful period, I fully understand what you are interested and curious to learn about my country in your trips. By planning your trips, I would like to present you a real China with unique schedules and stories through a local's perspective. Like I always tell the internationals: My trips will be your window to see China while you are our window to see this world.

China requires that all interpreters and customized trip planners are licensed. I am officially licensed for planning all sorts of customized trips and interpreting services. We are 7 Americans including a 11 months infant traveled in Beijing, we booked Judy's service for our private tour of the Great Wall, Tian'anmen square and the Forbidden City. She picked us up at our hotel on time, from the start, we knew we would have a great day with Judy. Judy was incredibly kind, very knowledgeable about the sites we've visited and very informative about the history of China and local life. She thought about all of our needs, prepared ice bottle water in the coach, pre-booked the entrance tickets, organized the chairlift and toboggan to ride up and slide down the Great Wall etc. she was very accommodating to our group including a baby.She took the time to know all members and encouraged questions. she also took us to the best restaurant for a very delicious lunch (the best food we ate in China). Additionally, Judy allowed our time at the end of our day to do some shopping for souvenirs in the local grocery store. The tour was the highlight of our visit. Judy's driver was also very pleasant and drove us very safely in our private air-conditioned bus. the entire excursion was seamless. We would highly recommend Judy to anyone in need of a great tour in China. Read less

Although I did not book time with just directly, she did help me connect with a good interpreter in the city I was visiting. Other interpreters I searched for were charging exorbitant fees. Judy connected me with my interpreter without "marking up" the services. She was honestly just being helpful. Thanks Judy Read less

Excellent guide in Judy, very charming and knowledgeable. Went to Gubei water town and the Great Wall at Simatai. The water town is very picturesque, lots of photo opportunities. If so inclined, also lots of activities in the village eg paper modelling, making kites, lanterns, etc. However we elected to climb up to the wall (25mins) and were not disappointed. The history here is amazing. The wall is steep here, hold on tight! But this adds to the magnificence of the views. Returning to the village by gondola, we found our guide had tracked down a western restaurant as one of us had become allergic to Chinese food (msg probably). Very thoughtful of her and appreciated. She also allowed us to deviate off to have a Starbucks! After dark we took the gondola up to the wall. All lit up. Fantastic to view from the village and from the wall. As it was my birthday the guide bought me a good luck wooden rectangle to hand on the wall, a Chinese custom like the padlocks on bridges, we think. This tour gave us abiding memories of the vastness of the wall and the length of Chinese history. Pluses: excellent knowledgeable and charming guide in Judy. Flexible tour in that we chose to visit the wall in daylight also as opposed to remaining in the village (highly recommend if adult). Magnificent views of lit up wall. Private car meant travel very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour and this guide. The best of all the 5 days tripping we did. Read less

I reached out to Judy to help plan my honeymoon in China; my wife had not been before and I wanted to make sure we caught all the sights. Using Judy was the best decision I made in planning for our China trip! Judy arranged a perfect 1 day tour of Beijing for us - we saw the Temple of Heaven / Tiananmen Square / Jingshan Park / Summer Palace / Acrobatic Show. Our tour guide was Lily (who was a fantastic guide!!) she was incredibly informed on the history of China which made the tour fascinating… as someone who has been to Beijing before and seen some of the highlights it was like seeing them again for the first time to have such an informed private guide leading us and explaining the history. Lily helped us get our bearings in China, gave us some great recommendations and arranged to get us SIM card so we could connect with friends an family.The tour structure itself was great -> no shops, no wasted time, just touring Beijing and sightseeing – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! After our tour of Beijing, Judy arranged a 2 hour (4 hour round trip) drive to our next hotel near the great wall, and the trip back to the airport 3 days later.Our next stop was Zhangjiajie, so with a great experience in Beijing under our belt we asked if Judy could help recommend anyone in Zhangjiajie - and she did not disappoint. She was able to put together a 3 day private tour in Zhangjiajie for us (with pickup and drop off at the airport) through some of her connections which turned out great! What a beautiful place!Nothing but great things to say about Judy, I highly recommend her… and to anyone who is on the fence about private tour vs group tour or solo tour – as someone who has experienced group tours in Asia, it is 100% worth it to go for the private tour with Judy, you will not be disappointed! Travelling in China with 2 young children meant I needed someone who was understanding of their needs. Judy was incredible! Her English is outstanding. We were able to email her prior to arrival and explained everything we needed. Her communication by email, text and phone meant that we were 100% at ease with exactly what we were doing for our tour. For example, Judy arranged a car and a driver for our family so that if my children were asleep or needed a rest we had a variety of options still available to us to see the city. Judy’s knowledge of local attractions was impressive and she was able to answer all of our questions with information well beyond our expectations. During our tour I decided to change the itinerary to accommodate the children and Judy was so flexible and adaptable she quickly made these changes without any fuss. We enjoyed our experience with Judy so much that we booked her for a second half-day tour while we were in Beijing. Judy personalised our tour and ensured that we were 100% content at all times. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing and the surrounding area. We spoke to many other people on other tours while we were in China and they said that they were taken to places they didn't want to visit, and found their tour guides difficult to deal with. Our experience with Judy was completely amazing. If I could rate her more than 5 stars I would! Anyone going on a tour with Judy will be guaranteed a safe, insightful, and memorable experience of China. Read less

I’ve been travelling across Hainan for a few days but my big problem was that no one could speak English. It has been all very difficult till the moment I found Judi. She wasn’t in Hainan, so she couldn’t directly solve my problem, but as soon as I asked, she found for me a driver from Haikou to Sanya and really made my trip. She was present all the time, generously, answering questions and monitoring my trip through social media contacts with me and the driver. The driver himself could not speak English and she was always available to help us. Judi is available, truly reliable and veeeery generous. She loves her work and her energy went through our conversations, even if we never met! I presently asked her to help me in finding an helicopter for a project of mine and after a few minutes she came up with it, even cheaper than I thought!! So, get in touch with her for EVERY trip purpose and she’ll find the best and cheapest solution FOR YOU! Read less
