You can walk the Tiger Leaping Gorge Upper Trail in 1-3 days. Most people do it in 2 days. Start the walk either from QiaoTou or Tina's Guest House at attitude 1800M, climbing up to 2500M. Once you are at 2500M, the walk becomes easy and enjoying. Stay overnight at the Half Way Guest House or the Tea Horse Hotel.   

  Diqing Prefacture, known as the Shangri-la to the outer world, is such a rich, beautiful and mysterious land for Chinese and foriegn travellers. Sitting on the highland, with altitude above 3300 meters high, it is still a home for virgin forest, snow capped mountains, wild ferocious animals, beautiful plants and rivers, precious herbs and mushrooms. It is certainly a dream land for many adventurers. Yet the natural condition is so harsh, with thinner oxygen and harsh winter, it keeps many ambitious conquers away.

  The land is so pure, and the smile of people is so sweet and touching, yet full of strength and determination, which attracts lots of sincere practioners of Buddhism here, paying pilgrimage to holy mountains and temples. It is a very mysterious piece of land, as it has its own language, which goes in its own tunes. To understand it, you have to be open and sincere enough to your heart, then you'll see the massages on the faces of people, on the silent lakes and mountain trails, as they are all massengers of the nature.

Yu Beng (3200M) is a Tibetan Village hidden deep inside the Meili Snow Mountain. There is no road for vehicle. From where you drop your car ((2675M), you have to walk 6 hours to get there (highest point is 3730M). Tibetan live in a simple life. Visitors are limited to backpackers who love nature. 

Meili Snow Mountain 6740M above sea level. Locate at north west of Yunnan province. Tibetan respect it as holy mountain. There are hidden villages living in very simple and basic life style. Sunrise ay Meili Snow Mountain is spectacular.  

Napa Lake is a seasonal lake. in raining season(from Jun-Sep) streams from snow mountain around made it a beautiful lake.and in dry season it becoming a wetland. paradise for the Local animals and wild birds. Nice farmland and Tibetan villages around made it more charming.
Under a blue Tibetan sky ,Snow mountains and villages around the lake, Yaks are grazing at grassland close to the lake with bell on their necks ringing from time to time and the wild birds seems cooperating with the sound and dancing......
