It is located at West Street of Xi'an ,less than 1km away from Bell Tower and 33m in height, it was built in 1380. A huge drum is placed in the tower, which is used to beat time at dusk. Bell tower and Drum tower are considered to be sister towers, and the scene of ringing the bell and beating the drum is known as "the Morning Bell and the Dusk Drum".

Located in the center of Xi’an, it is a superb piece of Chinese ancient wooden architecture.Built in 1344 during Ming Dynasty, 36m in height, the tower has three layers of eaves outside and only two stories inside. A huge bell placed in the tower is used as a timer and an alarm in emergency situation.

In front of Eight Immortals Nunnery, there is antique market each Sunday，hundreds of antiques are sold in the little shops and on the ground by local pepoles. It sounds a little noisy with seller and buyer’s talking and bargaining, but it’s very fun to know local antique-lover’s life. If you want to buy the real antiques with the low price, it’s right place, but you should have good eyes and good luck.

The nunnery was originally part of Xingqing Palace remains built in the Song dynasty. The nunnery, also named “Eight Immortals Palace”, is the largest Taoist temple in the ancient city of Xi’an. The grand temple fair is held annually from April 14 to 16 in Chinese lunar calendar, attracting prayers from the whole city.

The entrance of the street is close to the South Gate of City Wall. It is also called as "Chinese calligraphy culture Street", on the both side of the street, the shops are sell the Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, traditional writing papers, brushes, ink stones, and so on.

The mausoleum of the Western Han’s fourth emperor Liu Qi and the empress Madam Wang( they were buried in the same mausoleum but different cells) is received  as one of the largest museums in China. Among a great amount of precious relics excavated, the naked figurines with broken arms, reflecting prosperity of “Reign of Wen and Jing Emperors”, really deserve the name “Oriental Venus”. The newly-built protection exhibition hall in the outer pitch of the mausoleum, recognized as the first modern and underground history museum in China. Here, one may explore the mysterious royal life in Han Dynasty.

Here you can taste various kinds of well-known local foodstuffs, such as Guan Tang Bao Zi(steamed buns served with sauce inside), cold noodles, buckwheat noodles, stewed mutton soup, persimmon cakes, Zeng Gao(steamed sticky rice with dates), multi-layered fried cakes, crystal cakes and so on.
