About this place
The nunnery was originally part of Xingqing Palace remains built in the Song dynasty. The nunnery, also named “Eight Immortals Palace”, is the largest Taoist temple in the ancient city of Xi’an. The grand temple fair is held annually from April 14 to 16 in Chinese lunar calendar, attracting prayers from the whole city.
