I was fortunate to engage Linda as my tour guide during a four day stay in Xi'an in May 2016.

Before I arrived, Linda had carefully prepared an itinerary taking account of my interests and her email responses were always prompt and efficient.

Linda has a high standard of English and has a warm, friendly manner and flexibly makes adjustments to the itinerary as requested.

She has a deep knowledge of her home town and made all the destinations interesting with her narrative and descriptions.

Having a car and being an excellent driver, Linda ensured we were able to explore more easily than in a larger coach tour group.

Her willingness to do the airport transfer on arrival and departure made the whole experience seamless and positive - a 5:30 am departure for the airport when I was leaving was not a problem for her.

Xi'an is a very special destination - and it really is important to make the most of the experience by having a competent tour guide.

I unreservedly recommend Linda as a professional, reliable, courteous and helpful guide. She has a pleasant disposition, a good sense of humour and her experience and skill shines through.

I was very fortunate to have engaged Linda on this visit.

Better late  than never with this review.    Our trip to Xian got off to a bad start when our afternoon flight from Shanghai  was diverted to Lanzhou for the night.   By the time we arrived in Xian we were tired, hungry and our schedule  was in shambles.     Linda was able to rearrange our schedule and after meeting up with her things began to improve rapidly, especially after she took us to a great inexpensive restaurant in the Muslim area.    On full stomachs we were able to appreciate our afternoon of sightseeing in  Xian.  Linda's calm and professional demeanor helped ensure that our abbreviated visit to Xian went well, and thanks to her ability to rearrange things on the fly we did get adequate time to see the city and the Terracotta Warriors.

A little late but though...

We (2 adults 4 boys) booked Linda for a one day trip in August 2015 to visit the fabulous Terracotta Army.

Linda arranged pickupservice from the trainstation where we arrived by overnight train.

It was a tough day. One of the boys was slightly sick and we got stuck in traffic jam.

Linda always stayed focused, she was very sweet and caring and provided lots of information during this long day.

She even helped us check in at  the hotel, which was actually not part of her job. At the end she gave us recommendation for

a nearby restaurant, which was very good.

Originally I wanted to buy a terracotta warrior replica and she did her best, but finally it did not work out.

I can only say the best about her and if you are looking for a guide, Linda is a good choice !!!

Linda: Greetings from the BEST family from germany and all the best wishes to you and your loved ones.

Linda Guo met us promptly from the train station in the morning for a day's tour. She managed our time efficiently enabling us to see all our preferred sights. Xi'an's sights are quite far apart so it helped that she had a car, which was all inclusive in the price. Entrance fees are extra, which she clearly explained up front, so no hidden surprises. She has a real passion for Chinese history and knowledge of the area, which no guide book could replicate. It was her easy going nature, helpfulness and enthusiasm to share this knowledge, in her impeccable english that really makes her stand out.

Linda guided my wife and I on a tour of the Terracotta Army and the Hanyangling Museum last week.  Pick-up was punctual.  Her driver was careful; the minibus comfortable and warm.  The drive from the walled city of Xi'an to the Terracotta Army is about one hour and Linda kept us entertained and informed with lots of historical fact and detail about the area.

We are english speaking and Linda was clear and informative in her descriptions, with a good pace.   She took us to a local restaurant for lunch where we had good food and drink for a reasonable price.

Transfer to the Hanyangling Museum was another hour.   This was another interesting place with thousands of pottery figurines.  Linda was most patient answering my awestruck questions. Linda's support for us did not end when she dropped us back to the hotel. She organised a taxi to take us back to the airport the next day who was cheaper than the service provided by the hotel the previous day. Not only was Linda's taxi friend cheaper than the hotel but he was also a better driver.

So top marks to Linda for her skills as a guide of the Terracotta Army and the Hanyangling Museum and many thanks for the additional services such as organising the taxi, the offer of being available if we should need any support during the rest of our stay in Xi'an and the phone calls to make sure our transfer to the airport was going well.

Thank you Linda.
