Direction : From city centre, pass Nguyen Trai, Cach Mang Thang Tam, Le Hong Phong streets to National Road No. 91. It is about 45 km from Can Tho centre, on National Road No.91, turn left immediately after small Bang Lang bridge. It is few kilometers off the highway, takes about 30 minutes walk.

Tourists can take a bicycle tour, or rent a motorbike, or take a bus from Can Tho to Long Xuyen and stop at Bang Lang bridge, then take a motorbike taxi to the Garden.

Time to visit: The best times to see the birds are from 5am to 6a or from 4pm to 6pm.

Bang Lang Stork Garden, a 1.3 hectare stork sanctuary, is a popular stop of international and domestic tourists coming to view thousands of storks. More than ten species of storks are residing here.
Visitors can see these birds returning home in late afternoon after the whole day seeking food from other places. There is a tall wooden viewing platform to view the birds. The scenery of thousands of storks flying around and gathering in the Garden is really exotic to visitors.

Can Tho’s Handicarft Villages

On the way to the Stork Garden, tourists can visit interesting handicraft villages in Thot Not District. These villages are specific to the countryside with the system of rivers and canals in Mekong Delta. There are villages such as Di Tho lop village (Lop is a tool made of bamboo to catch fishes), Ba Rui cookstove (made of clay) village in Thoi Long commune - O Mon district, and Thom Rom net village in Thom Rom commune – Thot Not district.

Sam Son is a resort town 16 km east of Than Hoa capital. According to some, Sam Son has one if the most beautiful beaches in the country. Besides the beach, Sam Son has other interesting attractions to explore like the buildings from the French colonial period.
Every year, Sam Son is host to Sam Son Festival. The location is also very interesting because it is near to the Truong Le Mountain range, and Co Giai Islet where one can see Doc Cuoc (One Leg) Pagoda.
Trang Mai is a rock formed of two boulders. There is a legend about this rock in which the husband and his wife loved each other passionately even after they were transformed into birds.

The God Fish Stream is located under the Truong Sinh Mountain. It is beautiful area with forests, high mountains, and long rivers. In the water lives the God Fish which swims densely in the stream. There are many legends about this fish, so the people believe that it is bad luck to catch and eat that fish. In honor to the God Fish the local people built a temple. They also built the Snake God Pagoda nearby because they believe that once a year the snakes come out to protect the fish.
Muong people who live in the area are very glad to provide visitors with information about their beliefs and traditional way of life. Due to all this, the area is particularly worth visiting.

Bitexco Financial Tower is owned by a Vietnamese company, Bitexco Group. It is 265.5 m (816ft) high. It has 68 floors with offices, shops, restaurants, and a helipad. The most interesting attraction for visitors is the observation deck which offers amazing view. The visitors to the Bitexco Tower are accompanied by a guide and there are touch screen boxes with information about city landmarks seen from the deck.

Nghe Temple is one of the landscapes of the city and it is devoted to the cult of Le Chan who was a woman general in the insurrection of the Trung sisters.
In the beginning, the temple was a small shrine, but in 1919 a sanctuary was added while in 1926 there was built the Kowtowing Court. The temple is nicely decorated, and there are as well stone elephants, horses and ornate beds.
