Sanya Bay is one of the three famous bay in Sanya, another two are Yalong Bay(亚龙湾) and Da Donghai(大东海). It`s located at Sanya Bay, with a long distance coastline, the sea is beautiful, the sand is not too bad, but with some broken shells, it`s hurt sometimes when you walking on it.

Sanya Bay is near Phenix International Airport (凤凰国际机场), take a cab it will cost around 15Yuan. You can also take the tour bus "West Satation(西站)---Airport(机场)", and get off at everywhere of coastline.

Bamboo Temple

The Bamboo Temple (Qiongzhu Si) is one of Kunming’s most famous temples. Originally built during the Tang Dynasty, the Bamboo Temple was rebuilt in the 15th century, and restored in the late 19th century by Li Guangxiu, a master sculptor from Sichuan. Li Guangxiu and his apprentices were commissioned to build 500 luohan, life-size clay statues of famous monks and "saints" of Chinese Buddhism. The statues are known for their stunning realism and surrealism. The hall housing most of these statues is closed to visitors, but if the temple is not crowded you might get lucky enough to sneak a peak.

How to get there: The Bamboo Temple is located on Yu’an Mountain, approximately 12 km northwest of Kunming. Minibuses departing from the train station cost 3 RMB but are not on fixed schedules. A taxi from downtown will cost 30 - 40 RMB.

Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall

The Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre (1937-1938) is located on one of the sites where actual human bones from the victims themselves were excavated. It is the biggest official memorial place of the Nanjing Massacre, also known as "The Rape of Nanjing". The Memorial Hall holds museum status and is the first museum in China commemorating the War of Resistance against Japan from 1937 to 1945. It has received over 8 million visitors from home and abroad since its founding in 1985. In order to increase awareness concerning the massacre committed by the Japanese aggressors, the Nanjing City Committee of the Communist Party of China and the city government have subsidized the museum to allow free admission for all visitors.

Upon entering the hall, visitors will see a big bell with an inscription urging people not to forget history. Further along inside, a path of bronze footprints representing 222 witnesses of the tragedy stretches in front of visitors. A building named "wan ren keng", which means pit of ten thousand corpses, houses the skeletons excavated at Jiangdong Gate. In the Exhibition Room and Movie Room numerous pictures, audio recordings, and videos document the massacre. In the Reading Room, there are archives and other materials related to the Nanjing Massacre.

The Memorial Campaigns

Every year at 10:00am on December 13th, loud air-defense sirens can be heard across Nanjing. The sirens mark the Nanjing Massacre and remind people not to forget this national humiliation. Buses and cars honk their horns in remembrance of the 300,000 deaths from the slaughter. People from all walks of life, from home and abroad, flock to the Memorial Hall to mourn the dead. They hold candles and chrysanthemums, stand in silent tribute, and light candles at night to commemorate the 300,000 compatriots.

Take bus 7, 37 or 61 to Chanan bus stop (茶南站). You can see the walls of the Memorial Hall from the bus stop. Walk forward about 100 meters to reach the gate. It is also right next to the Nanjing Brocade Museum.

With tickets starting at 80RMB, this is a perfect night out for the entire family. Unfortunately, infants are not permitted. Circus World also hosts many child friendly shows including ’Happy Circus,’ so check the venue’s listings upon your next visit for show offerings and times.

15RMB is the entrance fee to the park, but for 40RMB an "all-access ticket" makes all areas available including the “Tropicanium” conservatory. Situated in the northeast section of the park, this giant greenhouse is an authentic taste of the tropics, complete with mosquitoes! The greenhouse’s interior is so warm that a rather impromptu and rapid stripping off of clothing often takes place just inside the entrance, much to the amusement of the Chinese staff.

For true tranquility, find Penjing Garden which offers a place to perch, to reflect, or to snooze whilst enjoying the Bonsai trees.

Baofeng Lake

Baofeng lake is a part of Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Hunan Province that was listed as a World Heritage site in 1992, is situated on and around Mount Baofeng, Baofeng Lake Scenic Area comprises some 275 hectares, and consists of Baofeng Lake and Yingwo Stockade Village. Baofeng Lake boasts pristinely beautiful natural scenery. Being located high up in the mountains, the lake catches some of the first and purest runoff water from the mountain peaks. Its height also guarantees an air freshness, Baofeng Lake is supported by lush green trees and shrub-clad stone peaks of various shapes that enclose the lake and give it a fairytale-like atmosphere. Chang Tombs
