Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival

After meeting with the tour guide, he/she will take you by private van and driver to your hotel for a good rest.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie national forest park: Huangshi Fort, Golden Whip Brook

After breakfast, you will take the cable car to Huangshi Fort which is 1092 meters above sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform to view the spectacular scenery in the national park. Later, explore the famous Golden Whip Brook which covers a distance of 7.5 km winding across mountains and valleys.

Day 3: Wulingyuan scenic area: Tianzi mountain, Yuanjiajie and Baofeng Lake

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up  and take you to Wulingyuaun Scenic Area to visit its two most classic and popular attractions. Take a cable car up to Tianzi mountain, and you will see large area of grotesque peaks thrusting up below. Walking along the steps, spectacular views unfold in front of you from different angels. In the afternoon, ride the public shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, whose mountains are said to be the inspiration for Avatar's Hallelujah Mountain, and then take the shuttle bus for the Bailong elevator down the mountain. This glass elevator was built on the side of a cliff, and it claims to be the world's highest and fastest outdoor sightseeing elevator which takes only 1.5 minutes with 326 meters as the height.

After that, go to Baofeng lake that is a basin created by the terrain in the middle of this mountainous area. It is a leisurely experience as you boat on the clear water, see the hills of various shapes, and enjoy entertainment by the local minority people as they sing their traditional songs.

Day 4: Tianmen Mountain, drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town

After breakfast, take the longest cable car up to the top of Tianmen Mountain which got the name because of Tianmen hole(literally "heaven's gate) is a 131-meter-high hole formed naturally in the mountain like a doorway, well-known for being glided through by a world-class stuntman in a wing suit. To reach the hole, you can climb for about half an hour up the "stairway to heaven". Coming up to Tianmen mountain, Your heart will beat faster at on the world's longest cable car, the suspended glass walkway almost a mile(1,430 meters) above the ground, and the winding road with 99 curves.
    In the afternoon, 4 hours drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town, enjoy the night view in the town with all lights and lanterns on.

 Day 5: Fenghuan Ancient Town, Dehang Miao Village, Back to the next destination

After breakfast, wondering around in the ancient town with the cement pavements and characteristic wooden buildings (Diaojiaolou). 

In the afternoon, drive back to Zhangjiajie while on the way back, explore Dehang Miao Village which refers to "beautiful valley" to get an interactive with local Miao-minority people in person.

Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival
Most flights land in Zhangjiajie in the evening. Upon arrival, your local tour guide will meet you at the arrival hall of the airport with a name plate. If you arrive by train, you local guide will meet you with a name plate at the exit of train station.
After meeting with the tour guide, he/she will take you by private van and driver to your hotel in the city for a good rest.

In the afternoon, drive to Baofeng lake that is a basin created by the terrain in the middle of this mountainous area.

Day 2    Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

AM: After breakfast in the hotel, visit Golden Whip Stream, located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Golden Whip Stream covers a distance of 7.5 km from north to south, winding across mountains and valleys, the stream is limpid through the year, with many scenic spots along the way. It is famous for Jinbian Cave-which has a height of 382km and looks like a huge flying eagle. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.(Highlights: Shoot the pillar-like  formations from the the quiet valley, enjoy the oxygen bar and clear stream)

PM: Up to Yuanjiajie by Bailong Elevator, Yuanjiajie is also called AVATAR Mountain, enjoy Hallelujah Mountain, NO,1 Bridge in the world and so on.(Highlights: Shoot the original of Hallelujah Mountains in the film of Avatar, drew inspiration for the floating rocks from the quartz-sandstone pillars)

Day 3    Wulingyuan Area

AM: You need to get up early, A full day sightseeing starts with Grand Sightseeing Platform --a famous place for seeing the sunrise, it only takes 10 minutes from your stay hotel to it on foot. Sunrise in Grand Sightseeing Platform is one of the 4 natural wonders in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.(Highlights:This is the best place to shoot the sunrise and clouds sea)
Head to Tianzi Mountain by bus, Tianzi Mountain is known for 4 natural spectacles - the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain,the amazing views of the rising sun,the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks.They include more than 80 natural platforms to take in the magnificent scenery. Take Tianzi Cablecar down.(Highlights:It is the highest place in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and it is the best place to shoot the panorama)

PM: Explore Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, it take 1.5 hours from Zhangjiajie city to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. combining mountain, water and hole, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is praised to be one of the most beautiful valley in the world, well-known for the waterfalls. (Highlights:waterfalls)

 Day 4    Baofeng Lake & Yellow Dragon Cave

AM: Continue to Baofeng Lake which is the masterpiece of nature and human beings’wisdom. Baofeng Lake is 85 meters above the ground and attains an altitude of 585 meters. It is pure just like a big crystal among Bao feng mountain Range.When you cruise, you can hear authentic song from Tujia minority people.You can fully understand the harmony and peace between human beings and nature.

PM: There are a lot of to see and do in Yellow Dragon Cave, this cave is praised to be one of the most beautiful cave in china , It is just like an underground "magical palace", featuring a wide cave, deep and secluded underground rivers, hanging waterfalls and dense stone bamboo shoots, and showing a style of its own.

Xibu Street: Xibu Street is located in WuLingYuan. It consists of water bar street, the Chinese snack street, xiangxi folk shopping street, leisure inn and creative mate. Thus becoming a complex tourism commercial pedestrian street. Visit Lijunshen Sandstone painting Museum.

Day 5    Tianmen Mountain

You will spend the whole day to explore Tianmen Mountain today, Tianmen mountain is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie, with with the sea level of 1518M, it is praised to be the soul of Zhangjiajie. Your guide will take you to explore the best scenic spots such as Heavenly bus road, The Glass Plank road, Tianmen Cave and so on.(Highlights:Adventure,exciting, glass walk,cliff, Buddhist holy land, and overlook the whole Zhangjiajie city)
Then,see you off in the Airport or Train Station.

It's a miniature of Chinese education in history.
The enjoy the Loving Youth Pavilion (Aiwanting), Hunan Embroidary Research Institute,
The Loving Youth Pavilion (Aiwanting) (30 minutes): It was built in 1792 during the Qing Dynasty. The beauty of this spot, with its blossoming peach trees, graceful willows, and flowing streams has attracted many poets and artists. Visit Hunan Embroidary Research Institute, this research institute has a collection of over 6000 pieces of the Hunan Embroidery. It has become a popular spot for foreign tourists looking for authentic, quality products.

PM: After lunch, 6 hours bus riding from Changsha to Phoenix ancient city

Day 4    Fenghuang Ancient City
AM: Today,our guide will take you to have a leisure walking in the ancient city. Phoenix ancient city is at the western border of Hunan and by the riverside of beautiful Tuo River. Phoenix,a place that shares the name with the holy bird in ancient times. It is ancient, quiet, and secluded.

PM:Take a exhilarating drive to Zhangjiajie, about 4 hours driving.

Day 5    Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
PM: After breakfast in the hotel, take the cable car up Yellow Stone Village, where you will appreciate the daunting rock columns. From the top, travelers can enjoy spectacular views of the forest with rough landscape( round trip of cablecar).

PM: Visit Golden Whip Stream (2.5 hours) in the afternoon, located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Golden Whip Stream covers a distance of 7.5 km from north to south, winding across mountains and valleys. Day 6    Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
AM: Take Bailong Elevator up Yuanjiajie, Bailong Elevator is the said to be the world's tallest full-exposure outdoor lift, tallest double-deck sightseeing elevator.Yuanjiajie is the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in AVATAR , Where you will also find the aptly named First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks and so on.

PM: Continuing to Tianzi Mountain, You will have a bird’s-eye view of all the mountains and valleys of the Wuling Mountains. Visit Western Sea, Helong Park,Viewing Terrace etc.Take Tianzi cablecar down and check in hotel.

Day 7    Baofeng Lake & Sandstone Painting Museum
AM: After breaking in the hotel, we head to Baofeng Lake where is the masterpiece of nature and human beings’wisdom. Baofeng Lake is pure just like a big crystal among Bao feng mountain Range.When you cruise, you can hear authentic song from Tujia minority people,you can fully understand the harmony and peace between human beings and nature.

PM: Pay a visit to Lijunshen Sandstone painting Museum, Li Junsheng’s sandstone paintings break through the using of traditional painting materials and use nature materials by making use of the hue of natural plant creatively, are of great art and collection values.
After dinner your guide will see you off in Zhangjiaije Hehua airport.
