​Yungang Grottoes ,carved in A.D.460 ,1500 years ago,are a treasure house of art as famous as the

Ajanta Grottoes of India and the mammoth Buddha sculptures at Bamyan in Afghanistan.The Yungang

Grottoes were carved on the face of a low ridge ,stretching one kilometer from east to west;they

contain 254 miches and some 51,000 statures. Yungang is one of the most extensive grottoes in

China. In 2001, is was listed as one of UNESCO's "World Cultural Heritage"sites.

Baiyun Mountain Baiyun Mountain is located at the northern part of the city,which is called the first mountain of Southern Yue It is the ending range of Nan Kun Mountain and made up of around 30 peaks.with beginning from Ma An Ridge in the north,ending at Gui Hummock in the south,and reachign to east of GuangCong Road and west of Mo Dao Keng Road. Baiyun Mountain is a famous historic attraetion of Guangzhou,wity many nice sceneries,elected as the past and present Eight Attractions of Guangzhou.Nowadays,it not only preserves historic relic like Nengren Temple,Nine-dragon Spring,but also develop new scenic spots like Peak Park, Da Jin Zhong Reservoir,Lu Hu Lake,the newly built Ming Chun Valley taking 12.5K square meters as a natural birdcage in Oct 1989,the Forest of Steles of Guangzhou collecting essence of calligraphy and poem in Oct 1994 and the new Yuntai Garden opened in sept 1995.

There is a chinese saying: "九寨归来不看水." It means: You have no wish to visit any other lakes after viewing the Jiuzhaigou Valley. The colourful lakes and snow mountains in Jiuzhaigou make it like a fairyland in the world, espacially in autumn, the leaves change colour into yellow, orange, red...make the whole valley looks like a colourful painting!

Jiuzhaigou takes it's name from the nine tibetan villages in the valley. Jiu means nine, zhai means village, gou means valley.

As a most popular scenic spot in China, the per day visitors number was once up to 30,000 in the national day of 2013! This made a big trouble for the park at that time, so as such popular place to go in China, you'd better not to go there in chinese national holiday, otherwise you can only see people mountain and people sea(人山人海)!

And the last thing to remind you is: even the park is close at 5:30pm, but usaully the workers in the park will ask you to take the last sightseeing bus at 4:30 in the park to go down  if you are still at somewhere far from the gate , because it is really a big park, it gonna take you quite a long time to visit along the way back. So if you want to visit the whole spots in the park, better to hurry up when visiting.
 

Lijiang Shuhe old town

Shuhe old town is one of three old town in lijiang, they are baisha old town, shuhe old town and dayan old town, the three old town consist the old town of lijiang,  old town of lijiang is 800 years old, it was put into the world cultural heritage list 1997 by UNESCO. shu he has the most beautiful canal in lijiang,  you will made to know why  water is the spirit of old town when you are walking around here.

Compared with lijiang dayan old town, shu he is less crowded and it is  the right place for  people who are looking for queit and relaxation atmostphere. here you can easily find a nice bar near the canal.

Pingyao was called Tao in the remote ancient time and, according to legend ,it was the fief of emperor Yao. As recorded in the historical materials, Pingyao Ancient city was intially built in the period of Xuan emperor of West Zhou Dynasty , with the city wall built with earth by tamping . It has a history of more than 2700 years to date.
