1 The entrance of this hotpot restaurant, it's better to make reservation in the evening, Cause many locals also like to eat here.

Some advise while traveling in Sichuan
There are something should be avoided while traveling in Sichuan.
1.Avoid visiting Panda when the temperature is warm.
Most of the pandas will be moved to air condition rooms if temperature warmer than 26 Celsius degree.

The warmer of the temperature the less active they will be.So start early( before 8am) to see the panda
if you visit them in September), during the cold Winter many of them are still quite active
even in the afternoon.
2. Don't visit the Leshan Buddha in the morning if you want to take some good photos.
The Buddha is sitting and facing to the West, light is bad in the morning if you want to take good photos.
3. Don't eat in Jinli and Kuazhai Street
These 2 streets only sell bad food to tourists,never a local Chengdu willing to eat there. Food there is bad test
and disgusting smell as well as over price.
4.Avoid visiting Huanglong National Park during Winter
It's quite dangerous to drive to Huanglong during winter,a lot of snow and ice on the way,but very little water
in the lakes unless you would like to see the snow peak at a high altitude.
5. Don't visit Emei mountain in a rainy day
You will see nothing except some Buddhist temples at Emei in the rain because of the heavy fog, this mountain rains a lot
throughout the year.
6. Don't enter the Dujiangyan Irriagation from the Main Gate(South Gate).
If possible,ask your driver to drive you up to the Yulei Mountain and drop off you at Qinyanlou,from where you can
have a best bird view of the Irrigation System,and it's much easier to walk down from the mountain to the river(Yuzui) than
climbing up along the steep steps.Also there are a lot of pretty temples in the mountain.
It's almost 2 km to walk from the main gate to the Yuzui where the water is diverted.
7. Don't enter the South western Sichuan(Ganzi Tibetan area) if not well prepared.
The southwestern Sichuan is quite remote and much less visited by foreigners, road is extremely bad with a lot of traffic accidents and landslide.

Looking back on my past 2013, I had met so many people from different countries. I still remember my first group was from the US in 3rd of January last year, and for the whole year, I also made friends with many people when they came to visit Chengdu. The very nice couple---Tanja and Markus; friends that I can share my thoughts with----John and Johnathan; sweet Emma and Stuart, we fed the pandas together in Ya’an, another giant panda base; Paul who gave me a chance to work as an interpreter for him on FHC ,Chengdu, where I also made a very good friend with Andreja; Pekka, who went out to travel alone for the very first time to an Asian country……
There are also some other people whom I spent wonderful time with. I’ve learnt so much from these nice people, and when they come to Chengdu, as a local girl, im so proud of introducing the culture and interesting things I know to them while by chatting with them, they also teach me so much about their own culture and things or places that I may not know presently.
I feel so grateful to my present job because it greatly helps me widen my horizon and also give me a platform to learn much of this beautiful and big world.
I also feel so grateful to all the people I have ever guided or cooperated with, I remember all the happy moments we spent together and thanks so much for brighten my life! 2014 is already arrived, I wish all the people, all my friends, every luck in 2014! And welcome people from different places to our lovely city Chengdu!
Goodbye 2013, thanks for helping me growing up so quickly! And welcome 2014, I will try my very best to make my 2014 a wonderful and meaningful year!
