The project of  the 9-line metro system started at 2005, but so far, only Line 1 is operating, Line 2 is under construction,and will be completed by the end of 2012. Construction of  Line 3 is just going to start. 

Tourists may have little chance to use the metro when travelling in Chengdu,due to its incomplete metro system.

To ensure the free flow of visitors throughout the park and to protect the environment , private cars ( except those of park residents) are not permitted within the park. A fleet of buses are the only vehicles allowed to transport visitors within the park. This is the most efficient way to transport visitors around the park and to protect the delicate environment at the same time . 

There are over 70 km of eco-friendly wooden trails throughout Jiuzhai Valley National park . Not only do these trails increase the sustainability of tourism in the park by reducing the impact of visitors on the environment, they also maximise visitors enjoyment by facilitation walking through the  National Park to sites not visible from the road. They bring you to within inches of our famed lakes and waterfalls. In the forests, on the side of the lakes opposite the road, walking though the park is even more peaceful. If you have a second day in the park you can do the reverse of your first day 's route and walk on the paths that you didn't see the previous day to get a completely different view of the park 

Kangding Airport is civilian airport in Sichuan Province China. located in Kangding County of Zheduoshan Adams, 4290 meters above sea level.
The airport is about 38 km away from Kangding city. In October 22, 2007 the first navigation was achieved.

Airport runway center point up to 4242.56 meters above sea level, the highest point 4280 meters, is the world's third highest altitude airport. After Daocheng in Daocheng County, Sichuan Province, with an altitude of 4411 meters of the Aden airport and the elevation of 4334 meters of Changdu Bangda Airport(Tibet), can satisfy Boeing 737 - 700 and the Airbus A319 equivalent models such as taking off and landing requirements, the volume of passenger traffic of 330000 passengers, cargo capacity of 1980 tons. Kangding Airport is known to be the most beautiful landscape , but visitors should pay attention to the plateau reaction, better to take some medicine before arrival there.

if you take a bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen station to Emeishan, the bus will stop at Baoguosi Bus staion, just beside it is the Emeishan sightseeing bus station. usually the tourists finish Emeishan trip , get off the sightseeing bus at the bus stion, and come out , right beside you can take the bus back to Chengdu.

Chengdu East Railway Station was open since May 8, 2011.the station is located on the east of Chengdu city, inside the 3rd ring road. it is the biggest station in West China.. it is very modern, somehow like an airport.  Beside the train station a big bus station, the name is Chengdu Wuguiqiao Bus station. you can take buses from the railway station to the city center. there are many buses.
