Went to the Xidan branch last night, and it was pretty awesome! You can get simple basics here, or you can get really fluffy pink Chinese girl stuff and sweaters with cats on them etc. I got a couple sweaters, for RMB99-199. The color and style selection is really good, and the sales staff were nice and helpful. Sizing was pretty reasonable, and they do carry large sizes.

Known to many expats as Muxiyuan Fabric Market - OR Fabric Mecca - THIS is how to get there...

Take the south second ring road, heading west. Take the exit to

Yongdingmenwai Dajie (half way along south second ring) and do a loop

around the large gate house and head south on Yongdingmenwai.

Cross over the south third ring road. You will see the massive set of

buildings on your right - the Muxiyuan Da Sha buildings.

Continue on and take a left at the next set of traffic lights you come

to. Go to the end of this street and turn right. That is the Muxiyuan

fabric market street.

Continue along this street - it will be slow and packed with people and

carts and cars - until you reach the big red traditional Chinese gates of the market (probably at least 600-800m along the street).

The right hand side part of the market is cottons and other fabrics.

The left hand side of the road is silk.

This store is so far the largest Adidas store in the world. Was not impress with the way they uses the space...looks too empty as seems like the items are not enought to pack the shop. But I like the area for "self-gaming" and the facility to print your own name on a jearsy...nice!

The largest Adidas store in the world and not a single swimsuit after September 1st. Instead, women can choose from like a whole floor of Stella McCartney "designer" sportswear. If you're actually serious about sports and not just interested in getting sportswear from a famous fashion designer, go elsewhere. Li Sheng in Wangfujing has a great selection of swimsuits year-round.

Adidas' largest store is in fact too large — absolutely no need for four floors of square footage. One can tell by the children's play ground on the top floor they were fighting to figure out what to use with all the space. Most of the gear for sale is Olympic-oriented, which begs the question as to what they'll do with all that space once the Olympic Games are over. The best product in the store is also the only thing not for sale to the general public. Adidas launched a "Made for Beijing" shoe line featuring an Olympic shoe for every sport in the upcoming Games. It's a great idea, but the shoes are only available to the athletes once they get to Beijing.

Very bad (or not existing) customer service!!!!!!

We bought a raxor via their online shop. After receiving it we noticed that its adapter piece (the one between razor and baby's head) was sharp as a knife! As we did not intend to kill our baby we decided to return it. They say that you can return every item within 7 days. easy task? Think twice! We were refused because we were opening the box already! Quality problem? They say, "all products are like this." Our friends are using the same without such a problem? "We don't think so, different model...". "What, you are an old customer who spent a lot of money here? This doesn't count. Please feel free to complaint where ever you want but there will be no refund!"

Even for China standard this is an unbelievable response. You better stay away from them, we will.

redmonkey, I have to disagree with your customer service experience, at least ours was totally different. We ordered a pushchair online and it was delivered after two days. In the mean time we had found another one. However, just to compare I opened it, assembled it and then decided to return it, so repackaged it and the next day they came to our door, collected the item, no questions, and returned the cash refund. As it says on the website, return before 7 days in the original packaging with receipt, no questions asked. As online shopping should be.
