I traveled to Longsheng rice terraces with Andy in late May 2018. The trip was very well organized, and everything worked perfectly! Andy speaks very good English, and he was very flexible with accommodating all my requests. Longsheng is definitely worth a visit, and even just the drive there from Guilin is very beautiful and interesting. I would definitely recommend traveling with Andy if you are going to Longsheng or anywhere else in Guilin area! Read less

Andy is a very charming and funny guide who knows the area well. He uses his own car for the trip, so you are assured of a clean and well maintained transport not like the dirty taxi cabs all over China. Before I booked his services, we emailed back and forth about the attraction in Guilin and Yangshou areas, so during the tour itself, we never encountered any problems. His tour is very flexible depending on your need and he accommodates requests that you might have such as a certain chinese cuisine or tips in taking good photos. I have been to a lot of Chinese Cities from Xinjiang to Guangzhou and a lot in between and I can say that this is one of the nicest person that I have ever met. An excellent few days around Yangshuo. Andy was an excellent guide. I particularly appreciated his flexibility. It was baking hot while we were there and Andy was happy to adjust the schedule to allow us not to be out in the full heat of the day.  Everything ran smoothly and his knowledge of local secluded spots really enhanced the time we spent in this wonderful corner of China.

My family and I had wonderful experience visiting Guilin and Yangshuo in October 2014.  Andy is an excellent guide and has a superb knowledge of the local area and the culture.  As we were there during National Holiday is was very busy but Andy was awesome at ensuring we missed the major traffic jams and holdups you expect at that time of year.  Early morning starts and Andy's knowledge of the roads, short-cuts and back alleys meant we only hit a major delay once (at that was returning to Guilin so it wasn't a problem - in fact it was very entertaining!).

Under Any superb guiding expertise and expert driving we got ot see the Longjii Rice Terraces, Reed Flute Cave, Li River and Yangshuo without any long delays, traffic jams or holdups - quite an achievement considering we were there bewteen Oct 1 and Oct 4 2014!

I do not hesitate in highly recommending Andy for anyone who wants an excellent guide and driver during their stay in Guangxi.  Andy is great!

We had three days booked with Andy visiting the rice terraces, Guilin and Yangshou.

the biking was great fun and the rice terraces brilliant as was the Li river cruise and bamboo rafting.

Andy was very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful in planning the trip.

When we got there everything went smoothly and Andy provided heaps of information and tips.

He was also happy to go out of way to help. For example on the night we went to the show on the river at Yangshou we mentioned that if ever we come back we would like to see the Cormorant fishing. Straight away Andy was on the phone and had arranged it for after the show.

Great guide and thoroughly recommended.

I would also suggest you be sceptical about Sinotrip as their reviews can apparently be manipulated.
