Sanya Bay is one of the three famous bay in Sanya, another two are Yalong Bay(亚龙湾) and Da Donghai(大东海). It`s located at Sanya Bay, with a long distance coastline, the sea is beautiful, the sand is not too bad, but with some broken shells, it`s hurt sometimes when you walking on it.
 

Sanya Bay is near Phenix International Airport (凤凰国际机场), take a cab it will cost  around 15Yuan. You can also take the tour bus "West Satation(西站)---Airport(机场)", and get off at everywhere of coastline.

Yalong Bay and Yalong Square

Yalong Bay is the World Number one Bay in China.  It have 4 main areas.  Butterfly Valley, Sea Shell Museum, Totem Culture Square and Yalong Beach.

With the reputation of "Eastern Hawaii", the beach is really nice and clean with soft sands and blue sea.  Here have many rides you can choose, jet, waterscooter, diving, but it`s quite expensive here, for example, the waterscooter it`s cost 150 Yuan/10minutes, and 380Yuan/person of diving.

But they have the free sea-bathing. You can also have a sun bath since the Sun here is quite strong, dont get sunburn though.

 

 

Another two Beaches in Sanya. Sanya Bay, Da Donghai.

There is a local tour bus Yalong Bay To Tianya Haijiao, it will bring you there. You can also take a taxi, but Yalong Bay is quite far from other bays, it usually cost 100Yuan to get there, unless your hotel is in Yalong Bay, then you just need to walk there.

While it isn't exactly recommend that visitors go swimming here, Holiday Beach seemingly stretches on forever and makes for a great seaside walking or wind surfing, which can be done for only 50 RMB.  A number of barbeque pits are available and evening gatherings have been known to evolve into rowdy parties as the night progresses.  Take bus #37 to the end of the line to find a good time at Holiday Beach. 

 

Tianya Haijiao

Tianya Haijiao is a famous place in China, i guess 90% Chinese know this place. Tianya Haijiao also think as the lovers place, because the name represent the love will go till the end of the sky and the sea.

Tianya Haijiao is a famous place in China, i guess 90% Chinese know this place. Tianya Haijiao also think as the lovers place, because the name represent the love will go till the end of the sky and the sea.

Many new couples come here to spend their honeymoon, or they taking photos with wedding dresses, all these are made Tianya Haijiao special in Sanya. Stone with chinese charecter "爱" (Love),  stone with "天涯" (the end of the sky), stone with "海角" (the end of the sea), all these are full of love.

                     Two hearts always together


As to me, Tianya Haijiao is a place with many big stones on the beach. Can not swimming, the sands with many broken shells, really uncomfortable if you walking on it with your flippers or sandals on, so better wearing sneakers.
 


 

Take tour bus the route from Yalong Bay to Tianya Haijiao, and get off at the front of Tianya Haijiao.

Da Donghai

Da Donghai is the only scenery area which near Sanya City, the views there quite same as Sanya Bay, the beach is not that clean and the sands are not that soft.

But still many people go there because there is a famous seafod open market in the city names Number one Market, the seafood are quite cheap and fresh, you can buy many of them and go to any restaurants nearby, they can cook for you and only charges couple bucks for cooking for you, this attracts a lot of people. 

If you have the seafood at Yalong Bay or Sanya Bay you will be ripped off.
