Bromo mountain is one among many beautiful places in the region which belong to National Park -Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The national covers a total area of 5,250 hectares with the hingest mountain in Java is part of it, Semeru mountains, 3.676 meter above sea level.

The name of national park (Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park) is taken from main part of the area, first Bromo mountain, second, Tengger is the name of local tribe (hindust peoples) who been living in the area for long time ago, then the last is the Semeru is also the name of mountain, which is the highest mountain in Java. 

the National Park is lies right in the border of 4 different cities, Lumajang Region, Pasuruan Region, Probolinggo Region and Malang city region. that why there are many route to get into this national park. Every route you take has particular advantage and disadvantage. the most common route is from Probolinggo, cos the route will lead you to the villager area and also hotel area (the hotel is a bit expensive, with very basic service).

Mount Bromo has to be one of the easiest volcano to climb while it\'s equipped with stairs to reach the crater lips, as the local Tengger people do the ceremony once a year climbing up to the crater lips and throw the harvests as gifts to the God.

Water Castle Taman Sari at Yogyakarta city was a relaxing building to King, His Harems and princess. What is Taman Sari? Taman is Garden, Sari is Javanese language that mean beautiful or flower, so Taman Sari is Garden that beautiful because it was flowers everywhere. Taman Sari was built at 1758 which was very beautiful with made lake around that area, also there has been built under ground mosque. At 1812 there was an eruption from Merapi mountain that destroy that place and also closed the lake flow.

The unique of this place was only King, His Harems and His princess and their women's servant that could enter to 'Umbul Binangun' (read: oombool binungoon), part of this place, because if they had to be naked to enter the place to take bath in there. When His Harems took bath at the pond, King would throw a flower to the pond and the harems that got that flower, could go upstairs and met the King.

After that moment, this place become historical ruin and become house of citizen or King's servants family.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a cultural park in Bali located in the hilly region on Bukit Peninsula which occupies an area of about 240 hectares.

Currently, numerous visitors can see a 23 meters high Wisnu statue. The statue is made of copper and brass. There are plans to build the world´s largest statue. The statue will be 150 tall with 64 meters of wing span. This Wisnu statue will be placed on Garuda statue and that way they will form a unique enormous statue. Garuda is a mythical creature with wings.

The construction of this spectacular statue designed by Nyoman Nuarta still isn´t finished and there are opponents to its construction who consider that its completion would increase the tourism income but that would decrease the spiritual importance.

Tanah Lot is a pilgrimage site built on the small rock near the coast of Bali, some 20 km from Denpasar. It´s full name is Pura Tanah Lot. It is believed that the temple dates back to the 15th century, and that it was constructed by the priest called Nirartha. The story says that the priest liked the rock and stopped to rest there and that some local fishermen offered him presents. That same priest said the place is holy and to build a temple there and worship the sea gods. So they did, and today it forms one of the seven sea temples. Even though the temple was built to honor sea gods, one has to notice the strong  Hindu influence. 

During the centuries the temple started to deteriorate, but with the help of the construction experts, the site was renovated. Numerous tourists come to see this picturesque site and take some of the most spectacular and exotic photos.

Raja Ampat is located in northwest Papua, Indonesia. It is an archipelago of over 1,500 small islands. It is also called the Four Kings (Raja Ampat). Four main islands of this archipelago are called Misool, Salawiti, Batanta and Waigeo.  It is one of the most, or the most bio-diverse marine region.  Raja Ampat is spectacular if seen from boat and for divers who are stunned by the underwater world below. Bajra Sandhi Monument is a monument that describes the struggle of Balinese people during 5,000 years or from 3,000 BC to 1975 when it started the period of independence. The monument was constructed in 1987 in order to make the souls and spirit of the Balinese people immortal. It has also one other role and that is to preserve the Balinese culture.
17 steps lead to the main gate while one can see 8 pillars inside of the monument. The great pilar arises above all is the 45 meters high monument built to symbolize the Indonesian independence.

The Baduy Tribe is a traditional tribe that lives in the Banten region of Sumatra. They live as they ancestors lived, in peace and in simple way. They have no need of modern life or technology. They are divided into two groups: the Baduy Dalam and the Baduy Luar, the Inner Baduy and the Outer Baduy respctively.

Currently there are about 400 Baduy Dalam spreaded in the three villages: Cibeo, Cikertawana and Cikeusik. The last village, Cikeusik is completely protected from the outer influence and no stranger can enter.

They are considered the ˝People of the sacred inner circle˝ and that is why they don´t make contact with the outer world. The Puun, the leader of the village, is the only one who can visit the most sacred territories of the Baduy.

The Baduy Luar live in 22 villages. They follow the rules but not as stricily as the Dalam people. In the past, even the Luar weren´t permitted to use modern clothes or work outside their villages. Now, the situation somewhat changed and they not only work in the cities but they also use some other elements of modern life such as toys, batteries...

They still reject schools in spite of the government´s effors to educate them. Thus, there aren´t many Baduy people able to read or write.
