Water Castle Taman Sari at Yogyakarta city was a relaxing building to King, His Harems and princess. What is Taman Sari? Taman is Garden, Sari is Javanese language that mean beautiful or flower, so Taman Sari is Garden that beautiful because it was flowers everywhere. The symbol of ornaments on the wall about flowers and bird, flowers symbol of beauty and bird is symbol of Javanese hobby to take care bird in their house. Taman Sari was built at 1758 which was very beautiful with made lake around that area, also there has been built under ground mosque. At 1812 there was an eruption from Merapi mountain that destroy that place and also closed the lake flow.

The unique of this place was only King, His Harems and His princess and their women's servant that could enter to 'Umbul Binangun' (read: oombool binungoon), part of this place, because if they had to be naked to enter the place to take bath in there. When His Harems took bath at the pond, King would throw a flower to the pond and the harems that got that flower, could go upstairs and met the King.

After that moment, this place become historical ruin and become house of citizen or King's servants family.
