Pura Uluwatu Temple

Pura Ulwatu is one of Bali's most sacred temples in Bali, located at southern part of Bali and the most beautiful classical combination of Balinese and Javanese architecture connected in legend of two figures important in the history of Shiva and Buddha religion, it was built by holy priest from east of Java named Mpu Kuturan thought have been built around 11 century and in the next of 500 years later was reformed by Dang Hyang Nirartha the great Javanese Brahman priest who come to Bali from Blambangan in east Java, he made various modification to many great temples, annotated Balinese sacred literature and invented a few thousand rituals, led some succesfull crusades to Lombok island, He designated and maker the holy water, called Tirta. after retired from his long spiritual journey in this Island as masterpiece. some fisherman saw the light from that temple toward to the sky and the priest itself disappear  to unite with the supreme of the God

There are many ways to do fun activities outdoor and get the feeling of adrenaline rush. Most people getting best experience from surf the waves, or snorkeling on calm sea garden, or goes deep for underwater world scuba diving. However, some people might haven't experienced to enter caves and going deeper to underground. It has related on general issues that caves can be a dangerous places; or it's only a dark place for mining or urban exploration. Nowadays, caving comes to be known as an extreme sport as it uses many skills on squeezes, the negotiations on pitches, wall climbs, or diving. Become increasingly popular activities, this is the perfect time to explore the underground of exotic Indonesia! Squeezing on dark narrow gap with equipped headlight, capturing growing stalagmite and stalactite, crawl on pristine cave floor with shining wet stones,and spot water flows through caves. Set your helmet, wear your sturdy footwear, light on your headlight, and let's explore the beauty of Indonesia underworld. Take nothing but picture, Leave nothing but footprints, and Kill nothing but times.

On this cave area, first our expedition team welcomed with a vertical entrance for 5-6 metres. Then a journey along the cave started by crawling and even dipped our body on the underground stream. We were amazed with those stalagmyte and stalagtyte walls and even we noticed some crystal stones. All this magical place was created from the water stream and stone evolution. ALong 4-5 hours trek, we found a stop point and also the exit point for Goa Lo cave. There we enjoyed our time to relax and rest before we found another cave to explore. The second cave named Goa Bangi requires more skill experience on caving activities as the area are three times more dangerous. The entrance for Goa Bangi also a vertical entrance with water stream flows from the waterfall above. During our going in, all crew did pay attention on the water stream which poured over their body and not to slipped on their step. And on the underground, a few metres trail will cover all our body with water. And another crawling part to the exit where the exit holes also the exit way for river water. Since the second cave requires higher skill and caving experience, we suggest to all beginner cave explorer to try the first one. Or try to explore the second one with any experienced partner.

Kalimantan or widely known as Borneo has been popular in the world as one of greatest rain forest and have so many rare species on it but apparently there is some places which the world haven't know about it yet, range of island in the east side of Borneo turn out to be lost paradise of tourism lays there and waiting to be found ^_^

For every people who love to see how mother nature works, this Islands will amaze each one of you to the bone so hard untill you will never want to leave it behind

Derawan Islands is able to reach by two ways of travel,

• Jakarta - Balikpapan - Tarakan ( by Plane ) then continue with speed boat to the islands ( 3-5 hours )

• Jakarta - Balikpapan - Berau ( Plane ) then 2,5 hour to Tanjung Batu Bay then Speed Boat to the islands

Neither both of the way are nearly the same, only if we take the Berau's trek, it will only take 30 minutes to the island by speed boat.

But if you all ready reach for the Islands, every cost and expense to reach it are worth to the single sen and second. Beauty of nature, beach with a white sand surround the island, and the sea creature ?? get ready to hold your breathe ^_^

Usually when we still on the boat to reach the island, the most showoff creature in the sea, a group of Dolphins which are so many in this sea side, will accompany your journey until you reach Derawan Island, then after get some rest in a water hotel ( this building are cottage which place in the beach with form of traditional houses of Borneo ) we could see the sea turtle lays their egg surround the beach in the night, because this island are also become the well-preserved area for green sea turtle preservation.

The other charm from this island were the reefs, snorkeling and diving are the most pleasure thing to do. Fishes, colourfull coral reefs, and sea turtle which swimming around will be usual thing to see. No wonder, because this islands has been nominated as the second place of the most richer sea biota after Raja Ampat in west Papua with 460 kinds of coral reef and 870 kinds of fishes

Then after Derawan Islands, Sangalaki & Maratua Island will be the next destination. An island with gorgeous beach which fill with many size of Manta rays on it ^_^

Then there will Kakaban Island, an island with some ancient lake in the middle of the island. Apparently in the ancient age, this island was beneath the sea and when there changes in the contuor of the earth and it rise up to the surface, there's a lake which traps many of sea creature within and most of them are so many kinds of Jelly fish, including very rare of stingless species of golden jelly fish which swimming backward, and it's really safe to swimming in this lake, because each one of this jelly fish are all ready loosing their ability to sting ^_^

But even though so many words i could say, there will be nothing if  compare to see it by your self ^_^ because there is only one word to describe this islands
