Yes Club
Yes Club also has a series of KTV rooms. Attached to "Yes" is "Jimmy’s" - an American-owned and operated pizza restaurant and bar.

The sleek towering new black tile and glass lit neon SOS dance club is one of the hottest night life spots in Yangzhou these days. The ancient city of Yangzhou seems a long ways away when you’re inside this sparkling disco. Try heading to the back of the first floor where people congregate around the elevated dance stage. Otherwise mosey through the other three floors of KTV (karaoke), and who knows what else you might happen upon.
Unfortunately, drink prices just skyrocketed here to a painful 25 yuan for a small bottle of Qingdao and SOS is no longer the bargain it used to be.

The original Scarlet is now closed. :( The second Scarlet location in Nanjing, called "Small Scarlet", is located in the 1912 bar district [4]. The original Scarlet, within stumbling distance of Hunan Road [1] and the Nanjing University [2] area, maintains a large and loyal following, especially with the foreign crowd. This dance-club is busy every night of the week which is something that cannot be claimed by many clubs in Nanjing. Drinks cost 25-30 yuan each, which is typical for bars in Nanjing. *How To Get There:* The bar is located down an alley that stretches between Hubei Lu (湖北路) and Zhongyang Lu [3] (中央路). Look for the small "Scarlet" signs on Hubei Lu. Seaworld is off Taizi Road near the Taizi Hotel. Bus nos. 105, 204 and 220 pass here. A taxi from Luohu will cost about RMB80.

Also on the Citic City Plaza Bar Strip and next door to 3D, and with similar prices, Demon is staffed by hyper-friendly Lilliputians. They regularly have live music, in the form of a guy with a guitar singing mushy love songs in a corner. Their RMB98 - 128 pitchers of cocktails are a refreshing alternative to beer. The management have been known to give a round on the house to solid customers, which is refreshing too.

The Shamrock is located in Laowaitan. This "Irish" style pub serves Guiness and Kilkenny on tap as well as Tiger beer. Prices are a little steep by Chinese standards, but regular patrons can obtain a discount membership card, which makes prices a bit more reasonable. The entire staff speaks English. The bar is consistently frequented by foreigners, so you shouldn’t ever need to drink alone.
The discount card also applies to Subway next door and the Indian Kitchen restaurant to the rear.

The bars with views of the river and the Pudong skyline are generally a little too expensive and showy for my taste. These locales are great for a big night out once in a while, but never my first choice. However, the Sunshine Bar, on top of the Captain Hostel, breaks all of the rules of Bund bars. The Sunshine Bar is laid back, cheap, and always comfortable. I’m always happy to head down to the Sunshine.
Take Metro Line 2 to Central Henan Rd station. Follow Henan Rd south to Fuzhou Rd. Take a left on Fuzhou Rd toward the Bund. The Captain Hostel is on the left side of the street; just walk in and head to the top floor!
