During almost 100 years, Hong Kong City Hall was ruined by war and other factor.

If you’re looking for a good place to eat, or a place to start your evening out in Qingdao, come to Beer Street (啤酒街píjiǔ jiē). Here you will find a 1 km stretch of road that is totally lined with restaurants, all of which have outdoor seating in the summer. Most of the restaurants are pretty standard Chinese food, but the outdoor atmosphere is lively and pleasant, and there is fresh Qingdao beer on tap everywhere.  At night the street is lit up by an enormous sign proclaiming “Qingdao Beer Gives You Passion and Happiness.” You’d be a fool not to drink it. 
 
Also located here is the Qingdao Beer Museum (青岛啤酒博物馆) where you can learn about the history of China’s favorite beer. 
  
 

The real name of the street is Deng Zhou Lu (登州路), but for taxi drivers “píjiǔ jiē” will suffice.
