Suzhou Creek (also called Wusong R iver) is a river in China that passes through the Shanghai city centre.It's one of the important outlets of Lake Tai, Suzhou Creek has a length of 125km,the river flows into the Huangpu River at the northern end of the Bund. After the Treaty of Nanjing forced China to open up in1842 and Shanghai became a important trade port.The river dormed the boundary between the British comcession and America settlement until both concessions were merged into the International Settlement in 1863...............

Xiling Seal Engravers Society is a representative of modern historic site in West Lake landscape, and is also the earliest Chinese national academic institution on the research of epigarphy, sphragistics and seal-engraving. Founded in 1904, the 30th year of Guangxu' Reign of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), it aims to "preserve seal-cutting and conduct research into the art". The society has gathered top-grade cultural celebrities throughout China and has become the world famous folk academic society after more than a hundred years of development.

Original built in 970 A.D. of Northern Song Dynasty, Liu He Pagoda retains her magnificence even now. It stands 60 meters high with 7 interior storeys. Looking from outside, Liu He Pagoda is an octagonal wooden structure that has 13 layers of the upturned eaves.

Liu He Pagoda is a typical example as one with front pagoda and rear hall that serve two principal parts of the Buddhist temples in China.

20-min drive from downtown Hangzhou

Taikang Road is a peculiar street full of art tinge in Shanghai.  The plan for the Capital Museum, located in the Confucius Temple, was prepared in 1953. The museum formally opened in 1981.
