Nanputou Temple locates at the foot of Wulao Peak, on the southern end of Xiamen Island. The temple was first built during Tang the Dynasty (618-907), and rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty( 1644-1911). The temple houses a huge collection of Buddhist cultural relics. It is one of the sacred places for Buddhism in Southern Fujian.

Behind the temple, there is a big word"buddha"  inscribed on the wall of a rock . The word is 4.66 metres in height and 3.33 metres in width. Further behind, that's the mountain called "Wulao PeaK" or "Five Old Gentlemen Peak". Look from far, the five peaks wreathed by clouds are just like five old men with white beard.

It's one of the top five famous mountains in China. Other 4 mountains are Tai Mountain, Hua Mountain, Heng Mouantian (it's another maintian, they have a same name) and Song Mouantian. One of the top 10 famous scenic attractions of China.

It's quite convenient to be Heng Mountain from Changsha or Guangzhou by taking high-speed bullet train. Only takes a couple hours.

Furong Town is originally named Wangcun，about 90km away from Zhangjiajie center city. It is an ancient town where Tujia minority live together. Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house ( mainly Diaojiaolou----stilt wooden houses ) are well preserved. The famous movie Furong Town directed by Xiejin is shot here. At Furong Town, you must take the local specialty, “rice tofu.” that become famous because of the movie. The scenery in the town has unique bearing. Shops with trap doors are on the both sides of two-kilometer street of black flagstone. Tujia Diaojiaolou (stilted house) are set up against the slope.The simple bearing of Tujia is very charming. historic Xizhou Copper Pillar witness Tujia minority people warring time. Wangcun waterfall which is about 60 meters high and 70 meters wide is an inspiring site.

Zeng Cuo An, a small fishing village is located in Xiamen Siming District,near the circle road.,close by the Pearl Bay. It is a nice place for relaxing.

Here lies the ten years of vigorous that have sprung up to more than one hundred inn, have their own style, each have emotional appeal, the price is much cheaper than the gulangyu island.

Here, in addition to tourists, also can be in close contact with people's life, it manages to Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, xiamen is more unique, incense exuberant mazu worship.

When it comes to the southwest of China, the old towns of Dali, Lijiang and Yangshuo attract the most visitors.

But Zhenyuan, a 2,000-year-old river town in under-appreciated Guizhou province, offers adventurous travelers the chance to see something a little different.

It is featured in few travel guides, which is a surprise。

The old streets of Zhenyuan are not as commercialized as the towns mentioned above.

What makes it really stand out is the way it gives the visitor a taste of other great qualities of China, all within a short ride or hike outside town.

The Wuyang River cuts through Zhenyuan and hills and mountains tower over the town. At the northwest edge of the town is the entrance to the southernmost section of the Great Wall.

Many Chinese themselves don’t know that there’s a southern section of the Great Wall so close by.

Zhenyuan’s section of the Great Wall may not be connected to the ones known and loved just outside of Beijing, but it is part of a 300-kilometer wall that extends east into Hunan province that protected the Ming Dynasty from the local Miao ethnic tribes more than 500 years ago.

The views over the town are spectacular. During spring and summer the surrounding terraced rice fields outside Zhenyuan are the stuff of landscape photographers' dreams.

Nearly all of the rivers in China empty into the East China Sea. The only exception is the Ertix River, which lies to the north of the Dzungarian Basin in the Altai region of Xinjiang. Unlike the other rivers of China, the Ertix river flows northward to empty into the Arctic Ocean. Along the way the Ertix meets with many tributary streams as it meanders out of China from the southeast to the northwest, eventually even entering Kazakhstan. It joins the Ob River in Russia, and flows northward to the Arctic Ocean. The Ertix River is the largest river in Xinjiang, stretching over 4,248 kilometers, and is second only to the Ili River in water capacity.
