Heng Mountain (Hengshan Mountain)

Bellow is an example itinerary for starting from a hotel in Changsha.

Pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Changsha and Go to south train station by subway or cab. Take the fast bullet train to the West Hengshan train station ( Only 30 minutes takes in the bullet train). Then take a cab or bus to the Heng Mountain after we arrived Hengshan train station ( around 15 minutes ). The total cost time is roughly 2 hours from downtown of Changsha to Heng Mountain.

The first thing we should do after arrived Hengshan Mountain is Visiting Great Nanyue Temple.

Then we will have lunch.

Afternoon, we will take tourist car to Middle Hillside Pavilion. Then we will transfer for a cable car to the South Heaven Gate.

Then we might possibly climb to Zhurong Peak the top of the Hengshan Mountain on foot. Due to there is no car are allowed to go to the top.

The temperature is several degree lower on the top than it was on the foot. The sky is more blue and clear. You will get the feeling that the sky is so close to you.

After we enjoyed the nice scenery on the top of mountain, we will go back home.

If we still have enough time we could visit Martyr's Memorial Hall and Mirror-polishing Platform, etc.
