One of my best hotels in downtown ,Shanghai. The Bund Riverside Hotel Shanghai faces to the Suzhou Creek,500 meters away from the East Nanjing Road ,800 meters away from the Bund, close to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower ,Yuyaun garden etc.

Another reason i like this hotel because the reception gave me a good impression . One of my clients was arrived Shanghai late so we booked the hotel has cancelled our reservation and the staff service really bad to us and other late customers . So we moved to thhis hote ,but it's really late when arrived here,and it hasn't any single room. We felt a little bit upset and tried but the reception,the girl smile and said ''we can give your a Presidential Suite with the single room price".woo.. we were really thanks and happy....

Built in 1934, the thrusting art deco Paramount was the most luxuriously appointed dance hall in the Far East. Sadly, the original interiors have been lost in restoration and the main hall has been turned into a Taiwanese nightclub. But don’t despair -- tucked away on the fourth floor you can still find a gloriously tacky ballroom. Join the middle-aged taitais and their younger male dance instructors and literally kick up your heels historic Shanghai 1930s style.

Every great city has its landmark bridge. London has its Tower Bridge,and San Francisco has the Golden Gate Bridge while Shanghai has Garden Bridge, in the mind of many locals, the honor should go to the centennial Waibaidu Bridge( Garden Bridge).

Waibaidu Bridge is the first all-steel bridge in China and the only surviving example of a cameback truss bridge.the fourth bridge built by the foreigners in the downstream of Suzhou Creek, near its confluence with the Huangpu River ,the Waibaidu (literally meaning ''foreigner's free passage'') was opened on January 20,1908 to replace an old wooden bridge.
