Ziyuan Danxia landform is the natural museum to know verrucano(red sandston).The landscape covers 125 square meters,the key hill 818 mertres ' high locating in the border between Guangxi and Hunan province . Standing in the top you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and also experience one foot steps on 2 provinces !
If you have energy you can climb up all the way for 4 hours,half way pass, bamboo forest,temple....that's quiet and peaceful hiking without many tourists.

Driving 3.5hours from Guilin,passing the Ziyuan county and Meixi town. Road are good but a little more time driving. No staying there would start early.

If you ask me are there any places can do one step on 2provinces for a panorama? I th that would be Ziyuan Danxia Landform Landscapes .Starting from Guilin for 3.5hours you would get to there. Jackie Chan's movie <Skip trace> selected some pictures here in 2016. The typical red sandstone landscapes so beautiful covers 125 square klms.The key peak 818 metres' high can take a bird's view of the whole area but need to climb up there. Chinese government listed it as one of the most beautiful Danxia landform.

Photographers and hikers are the good choice here. For those not very good climbing can do 1/3or 1/2way tour in there. Better take sport shoes and dress relax.
