I am a zhuang minority English-speaking local tourist guide! I grew up from a local family farm. I now farm my own land. As a amateur photographer and certified tour guide I enjoy leading exhibitions into my home land and providing experiences with my people.

Amazing guide! Chie will take such good care of you and your friends and family! He is kind and considerate and will go above and beyond to make sure your vacation is the best ever! We had a birthday in our group and he ordered a cake and made all the arrangements to have it delivered to our party! I will forever be grateful for the time that we spent with this awesome guide! Our guide, Chie help arrange a bespoke cycling trip North West of Guilin for myself, my wife and two boys, aged 10 and 12. He was extremely accommodating in arranging a van with drive, and good quality bicycles to take us where we wanted. When the cycling got tough for some of the family it was no bother to load up the bikes onto the van while the rest carried on cycling. When it was not possible to take the route we had planned he provided and great alternative itinerary in and around Guilin City. The driver we used was exceptionally good, and very safe. Our family of 4 visited Guangxi Guilin and surrounding area for 5 days in Jun. I connected with Chie online prior to our trip and he helped me plan the trip tremendously by recommending the sight seeing activities and places to stay. When we arrived, Chie's friend Danny (Chie was leading an extended tour group) picked us up and accompanied us as our driver and guide for the next 5 days. Overall our visit was wonderful, Danny was very patient and attentive, he made sure the car is always clean and comfortable everyday. With Danny's help planning out the itinerary, we were able to set our own pace when visiting the places, so the kids werent overly tired. Danny's English was quite good and was able to tell us a lot of the local history (my husband doesn't speak chinese). We went to see the Reed Flute Cave, Longji rice terrace (amazing view and a great hike, heehee), Li river cruise, Yangshuo (west street is a must see, especially at night), one day when we were rained out, Danny arranged a Chinese water-color paining class and the kids had so much fun! Looking back, I am so glad that I stumbled upon this site and found Chie, I dont think we could visit nearly as much places without their help. We will definitely look Chie and Danny up if we ever return to Guangxi again. Lulu Read less

Chie was unable to be our guide, as he was double booked, but he sent his friend Lydia to be our guide. Chie also welcomed us to his tea house in Guilin and we were on our way with Lydia and driver. We ate, drank, rode scooters, and hiked up the mountains of humid Yangshuo in May. Lydia made sure our days were filled with activities. Check out the view! Read less

The 15 day Nexus Yangtze River cruise started in Shanghai and ended in Beijing. It was a fun filled adventure with an amazing guide (@CheungChie) his English name is Jackie. He took care of us from the minute we stepped off the plane in Shanghai. Our hotels were amazing 5 star with breakfasts included and the cruise had great food and perfect accommodations! Every day Jackie would update the group of 22 on our next adventure and everything was on time and very organized! If there were any issues Jackie was always on top of it and each stop had a local guide that would come with us for the day and give us information first hand on the area and attractions. He went above and beyond and gave over 100 percent of what was expected of a travel guide! He took us on the Maglev bullet train so we could experience the 400 km adventure firsthand (this was not in the schedule) -what a treat that he gave us! One member of our group had a birthday and he arranged to order a cake from a bakery in Beijing and have it delivered to the hotel! It was an amazing trip and I truly believe that it was because of this special guide! Chie was unable to lead our tour as he was in Shanghai during our tour period. However, he sent Danny as our private tour guide for 1 1/2 day in Yangshuo and Guilin. Danny was very friendly and attentive. We arrived at Yangshuo on 6 March 2019 and departed from Guilin on the next day. At Yangshuo, we 1st stopped at Xingping Ancient Town then had a delicious lunch at a restaurant arranged by Danny. Then we headed to West Street for some shopping. The weather was cloudy and cold with light raining until afternoon. We were lucky that the rain stopped in the afternoon as i wanted to hike up the Xianggong Hill for panorama view of Li River. We continued our journey to Xianggong Hill which took about an hour from West Street. Another 20 minutes of hiking to reach to the top. I was afraid to let my dad to climb the stairs as some are very steep but he insisted to go on. Once arrived at the top, we soon forget how tiring the hiking was as the view was simply breathtaking! We couldn’t stop taking pictures. The next day, we went to a tea plantation at Guilin and had a few sample of their tea which tasted soooo nice. We bought different flavours of tea. Before we ended our trip, we had some delicious rice noodles at Guilin. Danny and Chie had also prepared some small gifts for us. Very thoughtful of them.
