Madagascar is very known of its lemurs and the baoab trees. If you visit Madagascar for a week, you have to see the animals and trees which symbolize Madagascar....
Madagascar is very known of its lemurs and the baoab trees. If you visit Madagascar for a week, you have to see the animals and trees which symbolize Madagascar. To see very close up the lemurs, I always advise my customers to visit Andasibe National park, Lemur's island in the eastern area of Madagascar through the rainforest and then, to Morondava in the western area of Madagascar, through the dry forest.
During a week trip, you have to see, at least, 7 species of lemurs and the 3 amazing species of the baobab trees.
Apart from these two main highlights of the tour, you will experience the life style in the country side of Madagascar and you will have opportunity to have direct contct with the local people.
During the journey, you will have to go through the amazing landscape in the highland, the eastern area of madagascar and the western area of Madagascar.
Please kindly be prepared that during this week tour, you have to drive over roughly 1700km, otherwise, if you want to shorten the distance, you can take a domestic flight between Antananarivo and Morondava.
During the year along, this tour is doable, regardless which season we are.

Tsingy de bemaraha tour
Tsingy de Bemaraha is one of Madagascar newest parks. It spreads over 157 Ha. Tsingy is the sharp limestone pinnacle that may reach 150 feet in height. The Tsingy, its Karistic peaks , make it known internationally. Tsingy de bemaraha has two nicknames, the cathedral of stone or the stones of forest. 2 days are quite enough to visit this park by trekking.
The park is opened only from May to October and closed from November to April. When you viist the tsingy of bemaraha you must see the famous avenue of baobab near Morondava.

The strong beats of the destination : Discovery of the : National Park of ANDASIBE, the luxiriant forest of the East coast ; the Morondava Kirindy Parc through the highlands landscape ; the beach of the West coast ; discovering of the famous world Park of UNESCO « the TSINGYS ».
Day 1 : Gera meet the guests at the International Airport of Antananarivo. Transfert to ANDASIBE park. Lunch on the way ; dinner and the night at the Hotel. Night walkfor spotting the fauna of the luxuriant forest .
Day 2 : After breakfast , a morning walk for « INDRI INDRI or BABAKOTO » ; the biggest lemur in Madagascar.After visit ; trasfert to Antsirabe ; lunch on the road. Dinner and night at the Hotel.
Day 3 : After breakfast ; drive to Morondava ; stop for picnic at Ambatolahy. Dinner and Night at the Hotel.
Day 4 : Transfert to bekopaka, after breakfast , through the avenue of the Baobab, accrossing the « Tsiribihina » river. Lunch at Belo/tsiribihina and drive 100kms to the village accrossing the last river of the « Manambolo ». Dinner and night at the Hotel.
Day 5 : Discovering of The first World Heritage site of UNESCO in Madagascar ; the « TSINGY OF BEMARAHA ».After breakfast ; drive 17kms to the Big tsingy . Admire the unique landscape thanks to two view points linked by a suspended bridge.Walking in the caves to reach the second view point with a bridge (the highest place of the park). Picnic in the lunch time. Dinner and night at the Hotel .
Day 6 : After breakfast, cruising the Manambolo river discover the cave with stalagtyte and stalagmyte . Hiking on the top of the hill for a magnifique view . Lunch at the village ; visit of the small tsingy in the afternoon.Dinner and night at the same Hotel.
Day 7 : After breakfast ; drive back to the Kirindy forest for night walking to spot the smallest lemur of Madagascar and five different species of nocturnal lemur . Lunch at Belo /tsiribihina ; dinner and night at the bungalow near the reserv.
Day 8 : After breakfast,the day walking to spot white lemur and the brown lemur. We can observ the FOSA (the malagasy carnivor and predator of lemur) by the luck. After lunch at the reserv , drive back to Morondava to assit the sunset in the famous avenue of baobab. Dinner and night at the Hotel .
Day 09 : Earlier in the morning, drive back to the avenue of baobab to assit the sunrise and drive to Belo/mer, picnic breakfast. Discovering the village and their culture and their ability to build the big boat, it’s a heritage from long time generation. Lunch in the village,and afternoon relax in the beach.
Day 10 : After breakfast ; drive back to Morondava.
Day at leisure ;(in option the visit of the fisher village by traditional canôe). Afternoon relax . Dinner and night at the Hotel.
Day 11 : After breakfast, at leisure before the transfert to the airport of Morondava for another destination . Hotel service
