The ancient SuoYang Castle is located 68 km southeast of Guazhou county, Gansu province，which is far away from dunhuang 180 km. It was listed as one of the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council in 1996 . In 2014 it was included into the world heritage list  by UNESCO. At beginning SuoYang Castle was built in the Han dynasty around 2000 years ago, and it was rebuilt in Tang dynasty around 7 century. Until to the 11th century, the caste was abandoned.

The castle consists two parts : outer city and inner city. The outer city covers 800,000 square meters,and the inner city covers 280,000 square meters. The most intact military defense system,agricultural irrigation and water conservancy system in ancient China were preserved in this caste ruins, which fully embodies the defensive characteristics of frontier cities in hexi corridor along the ancient silk road and reflect Suoyang castle played an important role to guarantee the traffic security for the long transportation of the silk road. In the castle area, the ruins of old town site, Buddhist temples, ancient canal system, tombs and other relics of ancient land reclamation area can be still found clearly as well.

 The Wei and Jin Tombs----It is in the north of Jia Yu Guan 22 km.The tombs were all built in Wei and Jin dynasty(221-419AD).They are all underground 11-13 meters  with a lot of painting bricks, which form an underground mural palace. Most of tombs consists of front yard,lobby and bedroom. All of murals on the bricks were painted by natural pigment. From the paitings on the bricks you may get to know the people’s life and the history at that time. It is reputated as the largest undergroung mural galllery.

Muta temple, formerly known as wanshou temple, is located in the south street of zhangye county, zhangye city, gansu province. It is the only buddhist pagoda that is survived by zhang ye.

The wooden tower is one of the five - line towers in zhangye city. The tower is 32.8 meters high, eight sides of the ninth grade, each of the eight jiao has a carved head, the mouth contains baozhu, hanging wind chimes. The main body of the tower is wood structure, the outer eaves are built in the building, the inner wall of the tower is hollow brick, each has doors and Windows, floor, corridor and tower heart. The window was carved with flowers, and the lintel was carved with brick. The whole tower is not a single riveting, all depends on the infighting arch, the big beam column link, crisscross, the mutual pull knot, one body. The tower overlooks zhangye, and the beautiful city sunset when the weather is clear. Every evening, there are countless swallows around the tower, very spectacular. In addition, the square is also a place for leisure and entertainment for the public, which can fully feel the city culture and civic life.

Located in the western corner of zhangye city, gansu province, the great buddhist temple is an important scenic spot on the silk road and the landmark building of zhangye. Founded in xixia, it has a history of more than 900 years, which combines han culture and western xia culture.

The temple is built in ancient trees, the ancient trees are in the sky, the green grass shade, the environment is beautiful. Inside the temple, there is a statue of nirvana, the largest indoor living Buddha in the country, with a Buddha figure of 34.5m and a shoulder width of 7.5m, which can lie flat on the middle finger. There are three levels of space in the body of the Buddha, various buddhist treasures, and various scriptures in the head, which were burned and destroyed during the cultural revolution. The grand buddhist temple, the buddhist art exhibition hall, the buddhist exhibition hall, the earth tower, the shanxi conference hall, the pagoda hall, etc. can be visited by tourists.

In mountain bridge is the oldest ancient bridge in lanzhou, is also the first bridge in the true sense of the Yellow River, built in 1907 by a German man, all bridge building materials for the German origin, up to now there are more than hundred years of history. The zhongshan bridge is located in the north of lanzhou city, the city of baita, before jin chengguan, is one of the landmark buildings in lanzhou, standing on the bridge can be seen from the white tower into the cloud, the mother river rushing through. 2km west of zhongshan bridge is the statue of the mother of the Yellow River, which is located at 3km east of the bridge.

Gansu province museum, "copper benma" is known as a symbol of China's tourism, also known as the "horse step swallow", for the eastern han dynasty bronze art, moral is now a day, success. The gansu museum has attracted a lot of attention because of its more than 350, 000 collections, and more because of its appeal to tourists. Now gansu province museum is divided into "gansu painted pottery", "the silk road in gansu province civilization", "ancient fossils in gansu province" three permanent theme exhibition, from the cretaceous paleontology specimens to the paleolithic and neolithic pottery culture, since Monday of bronze ware, ceramics, jade to the han and tang dynasties of the silk road culture, including the song, yuan, Ming and qing's porcelain, wood, silk, paintings, etc., has a rich collection.

built from  366 to 1371,Mogao Grottoes get another name as thousands buddist scultures cave.it is the largest scale & the richest content among anyother buddist relics.now there are 4500 square meters colorful painting ,2415 sculture exiting in 75 caves.for its unique histories background ,in 1987 it isIncluded in the World Heritage List.
