Theme parks feature high on the official list of Shenzhen’s tourist attractions and Window on the World is the most famous. A notice at the gateway boldly declares, “See the world’s landmarks in one day.” What it neglects to mention is that you will be seeing miniature replicas of them. The park also has some rides and “cultural” performances. Unless you have kids, are fantastically bored, or have some peculiar fascination with the tacky side of tourism, you can give Window on the World (and Shenzhen’s other theme parks) a wide berth.

The Window on the World metro station, at the end of Line 1, predictably enough, is at the main entrance to the park. Go out from Exit J. Bus nos. 20, 26, 210, 222 and 223 stop here.
A monorail, called the Happy Line, takes tourists from Windows on the World to the other theme parks in this area. A day pass for the Happy Line costs RMB40.

The Shanghai Yinqixing Ski Resort is the biggest indoor resort in Asia. It also contains a bar, restaurant, store, chess room and KTV suite. A full day ticket costs 125 RMB (US$15).
It is advisable to call ahead before setting off. Shuttle buses are available from North Square at the Xinzhuang metro line 1 station. Buses depart every 30 minutes.

Ge Yuan (Garden) is one of the more well known and interesting gardens in all of China. A thick bamboo forest immediately greets a visitor upon entering Ge Yuan. A closer look at the forest reveals a green palette of bamboo varieties. In fact, Ge Yuan gets its name from the character ge (个), said to resemble a leafing stock of bamboo. Emerging from the bamboo thicket comes towering rock formations, four in all that are said to resemble each season, and actually do in a refreshing way. Behind the rock formations are long corridor alley style residences, that have a surprisingly colorful feel despite being composed of gray brick. Passing through Ge Yuan is passing through three different worlds, all of which represent some of the most beautiful aspects of China.
Combo Ticket: For 110 yuan you can get a combo ticket which includes the entrance fees to Slender West Lake, a small museum within the Slender West Lake scenic area, Ge Yuan and He Yuan. It also includes a twenty minute ferry ride down The Grand Canal.
How to Get There: Ge Yuan is just a 15 minute walk east down Yanfu Road （盐阜西路, 盐阜东路) from the Ye Chun (冶春) area. Ge Yuan can be also reached by taking the #1 or #2 tourist buses. It should cost 10 yuan or less to take the taxi from Slender West Lake to Ge Yuan.

On July 31, 1955, Chairman Mao delivered an important speech calling for acceleration in forming agricultural cooperatives. In the winter of 1955-1956, Chairman Mao edited a three-volume compilation of materials on the "Socialist Upsurge" in China's countryside, designed to illustrate the advantages of rapid collectivization. In Spring of 1956, Mao proclaimed the policy of "Letting a hundred flowers bloom" -- that is, the freedom to express many diverse ideas, and hailed the intellectuals and specialists as indispensable to the development of China's economy; and made the celebrated speech of February 27, 1957, "On the Correct Handling of Contradictions among the People". First we will visit the 700 years old City wall, We will climb up from south gate and have a walk on the wall. We are not sure how many km we can walk, because of the renovating of the wall. Normally we will walk from south gate to the Yunlu Exit.
Then visit the Confucius temple, there is a old building named Dacheng Hall which is over 840 years old. From outside, we can see the big wood joints to lift the big roof around the building which is named Dougong. Due to this design, there are less columns inside the hall for giving the big space for the statues and the prayer. We have chance to see the Confucius statue and learn the philosophy of Confucius. If you like, you can pray for you and your children to get better study.
There is the Paper Cutting master named Wentao nearby the exit of Confucius temple. She is very smart and create the new style paper cutting with much more details and good wishes on it. Her products are made by hanks. It is worth to visit and buy as a souvenir from Pingyao. From the table standing and wall hangings. Please remember, take the red one because of red is the traditional and happy color. But the white one is the best. It is really difficult to choose, because of all of them are really nice.
Then you can have coffee break or tea break if you need at Chummy coffee, after this, visit the City god temple (ChenghuangMiao) which is most beautiful temple inside the wall. Because of the roof is covered by the colorful glazed tiles. There is not only city god and also the three money gods, Now you know why pingyao was the financial center.
