One day private forbidden city ,Temple of heaven,Summer palace tour

Pick up from your hotel around 8:30 am. First visit Tiananmen Square (40 minutes), Tiananmen Square is the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the biggest square in the world as well. The square can hold about one million people for public celebration or gatherings. On the west of Tiananmen Square it is the Great Hall of the People, the meeting place of national people's congress of the People's Republic of China.
There are Monument to the People's Heroes and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum on the south. On the east of Tiananmen Square is the National Museum of China, and visiting the exhibition is like reading concise China General History.
Then move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" (2 hours), the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history.
The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700's and onwards
Head to the Temple of Heaven (1.5 hours), the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. It is located in the southern part of Beijing, and had been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries.
It used as a complex of sacrificial buildings for the Ming and Qing emperors.
After lunch, visit the Summer Palace (2 hours), one of China's largest imperial garden. Summer Palace was originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty.
Its predecessor was the Garden of Clear Ripples (Qingyiyuan) started in 1750 and burned down by the British and French allied troops in 1860. Back to your hotel.

San Sheng Xiang (三圣乡), one of our favorite ten place in chengdu , is a flower growing village just outside of the Third Ring Road about 30 minutes from the center of Chengdu. The development, dubbed Flower Town by locals and foreigners, is intended to link the urban and rural areas of Chengdu and provide jobs and income for local farmers. For us, it’s a great place to spend an afternoon outside of the city, basking in the sunlight and lush surroundings away from crowded streets and honking car horns.
The project envisioned a flower manufacturing base with foreign cooperation that could sell to residents of the city of Chengdu and also export to other Chinese cities and abroad. Local farmers were encouraged to invest money in the project as well as switch traditional crops for flowers. The idea has worked inasmuch as local farmers have gained a new source of income and have managed, for the most part, to upgrade their standard of living.
The flower base also developed into a bed and breakfast phenomenon on the weekends, as local farmers opened up their doors to throngs of city-slickers wanting to get away from the urban chaos, buy some flowers for their homes and eat home-style meals.
Many of the locals also rent their homes out long term to artists, musicians and foreigners who are eager to live in a cleaner, greener environment. There have been some hiccups, as real estate developers and local government officials buy and develop land owned by local farmers, but the overall goal of enriching the countryside, bringing development to the suburban areas and giving city residents a place to enjoy themselves has been reached.
We recently visited San Sheng Xiang and took some pictures on a busy weekend. If you are in need of some flowers, some homestyle cooking or just a day of walking around in a less urban setting, then hop on the number 56 (or 343) bus heading east and get off at the main gate of San Sheng Xiang. The gate on your left is a large brown structure with four A’s proudly written across the top to signify that Flower Town has been designated a Class 4-A tourist destination by the local government.
Once you reach the main gate, the best thing to do is pick a direction and walk. There are bed and breakfast’s (known as Nong Jia Le’s) off of the main street and the main flower warehouse is right across from the main gate. There are also people selling flowers up and down the main highway leading to Flower Town and in the development itself.

The main hall covers an area of 426 square meters, which is of Arab architectural style.
The major buildings are prayer hall, bath house, Xuanli Building, office room and other facilities. The minaret is another important building of the mosque, which is of a tall tower for climbing and calling Muslims for worship. And the prayer hall is covering an area of 426 square meters and 13 meters high, can hold 500 to 600 people to do prayer. There are two tall Xuanli buildings standing in the left and right side of the prayer hall.
Harbin Daowai Mosque is the largest mosque in Heilongjiang province and it receives about 100,000 Muslim from China and some others from central Asia, Malaysia and so on. It has become a must visited sites for a Muslim trip in Harbin.

First we will visit the 700 years old City wall, We will climb up from south gate and have a walk on the wall. We are not sure how many km we can walk, because of the renovating of the wall. Normally we will walk from south gate to the Yunlu Exit.
Then visit the Confucius temple, there is a old building named Dacheng Hall which is over 840 years old. From outside, we can see the big wood joints to lift the big roof around the building which is named Dougong. Due to this design, there are less columns inside the hall for giving the big space for the statues and the prayer. We have chance to see the Confucius statue and learn the philosophy of Confucius. If you like, you can pray for you and your children to get better study.
There is the Paper Cutting master named Wentao nearby the exit of Confucius temple. She is very smart and create the new style paper cutting with much more details and good wishes on it. Her products are made by hanks. It is worth to visit and buy as a souvenir from Pingyao. From the table standing and wall hangings. Please remember, take the red one because of red is the traditional and happy color. But the white one is the best. It is really difficult to choose, because of all of them are really nice.
Then you can have coffee break or tea break if you need at Chummy coffee, after this, visit the City god temple (ChenghuangMiao) which is most beautiful temple inside the wall. Because of the roof is covered by the colorful glazed tiles. There is not only city god and also the three money gods, Now you know why pingyao was the financial center.
Next we will visit the Ancient government building, to see the pingyao politics center in the ancient time. It is the complete building with officials bed room, kitchen and private garden. Follow the guide to look the official’s life from the 250km far away from the hometown.
Have a stroll in the alley to the Rishengchang exchange bank, which is the first bank all of china.You can not miss it.
After lunch, walk to the Ming and Qing street, this is the shopping street full of the stores on the both side of street. You can find alot things here , from post card to lacquered boxes, and wall panels. One more place to see, it is the Armed escort agency also named security and transport service for the business man before the bank founded.
