Talking about Quanzhou, we all know Maine silk Road, apart from Kaiyuan Temple,  let's check this amazing Village.

 

As the beginning of Maine Silk Road, Quanzhou was the most open city in the ancient China especially in the Ming and Song Dynasties. It absorbed all the different cultures from all over the world, there are temples, religious, architectures,  etc.

 

This village is famous for the unique architectures and the special wonderful women there.

As you can see from the pictures, all the main walls are made by Oysters' shells, indicating ancient Chinese people's wisdom and creativity.  The shells hold each other tightly, keep the house dry, stable, windproof, and waterproof .

 

The other part of the village is the women. It's flowers' paradise, because there are some fresh and colorful flowers on every woman's head, no matter young or old, fat or thin, what a colorful world here!

On the basis of the former Chongwen Worker’s Palace Theatre, the China Heaven Creation spent a big sum of money in renovation. Besides the outer appearance which consumed 80 tons of steel, the China Heaven Creation also imported lights and stage facilities from other countries which present stunning stage experience. Legend of Kung Fu is a stage performance which integrates Chinese Martial Arts, Acrobatics and dancing. Since 15 July, 2004, it has been staging for more than 9 years with millions of audiences. It is the only stage performance that not only being presented in China, but also touring around other countries. It becomes a very famous brand in the Chinese Performing Arts market.

The story happens in an ancient temple in China. A little boy was wondering outside an ancient temple in China trying to become a Kung Fu master like other boys' dreams. On the way to a great Kung Fu master, he encountered many difficulties and temptation which finally led him to be a great one with great integrity and enlightment.

 

Huian Women

There is a special group of people in Fujian province, unlike the majority of Chinese women.

Check out their form-fitting outfits, colorful head scarves with lots of dots or flowers on them, and short top under which you can see their strong and flat bellies. Their pants are long and loose, with a wide silver belt above them, this is absolutely a quite attractive outfit for ladies, which shows their nice figure naturally in the best way.

But their character is probably quite different than you think. They are independent, strong, and diligent, they are the most important part of their local culture and their family, they are HUIAN WOMEN.

Actually this kind of outfit was from the Qing Dynasty, which is more than 100 years ago, and they have changed the style a little bit for the convenience of working.

There was a story of how strong Huian women are.

In 1958, people needed to keep water urgently to maintain their regular lives and avoid the big floods, but there weren’t enough people to do the work, so all the younger women  in Huian county united together to participate in this huge project, It’s a 105.8 square meters area, and 126,000,000 cubic meters reservoir, named by Huian Women” Huian Women Reservoir”.

They keep the typical Quanzhou sprit – Keep fighting, never say die. That’s the reason why there are so many enterprises in Quanzhou, they are producing many important products all over the world.

Huian women are good at working, and taking care of their family, it’s a great balance. Huian women do stone caving, fishing, carrying heavy items, and all the other daily work, which is always considered too much for women in the long history of China.

Jiuzhaigou is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. Jiuzhaigou in Chinese means nine Tibetan villages Valley. there are nine Tibetan villages inside the park. now three villages are open to tourists.

Jiuzhaigou Park is like a letter" Y". There are three valleys:  Shuzheng Valley, Zezawa Valley, Rize Valley. 

usually one day is enough to visit.  for some  photography amateur , they may spend a month there for photos. 

the entrance ticket is 220 rmb, plus 90rmb sightseeing bus ticket . 

start from the entrance， take turns to get on the sightseeing bus, the bus will take to the end in Yuanshi senlin（primeval forest）， but not always, sometimes , it will go to the left valley and stop at Changhai( Long lake) . in a peak season,  you don't know which side the bus will take you , because the staff are watching, the bus operater will tell the driver when he is near the center of the letter Y ( Nuorilang Center) , where there is the only one restaurant of the park. and a big shopping center. 

so if the bus will tell you they are going which side of the valleys, and you don't want to go to that valley, at the center , you can ask the driver to stop  for you. unfortunately , there is no English on the bus, there is a Chinese bus conductor on each bus. 

you will get off the bus at the last stop, then take the bus where you get off. the other side of the lake is wooden path, if you are good at walking, you can choose to walk back.

Cheung Chau (Chinese: 長洲, lit. "Long Island") is a small island about 10 km southwest of Hong Kong Island. It can be reached by ferry from Central Ferry Piers, and from Peng Chau/Mui Wo by the inter-islands ferry service. Cheung Chau still has a large operational fishing fleet.

This densely populated island is home to about 23,000 people. It is also a popular tourist destination, where people go for the beaches, a walk through nature, and for the seafood restaurants that line the seashore.

An old style academy that still serves as a top rated university and a museum. It is not very large but it has beautiful and well maintained old style buildings, art, statues, literature, and even some very old course score cards and tests.
