Santorni Half Day Photography Tour

This half day tour is based around the island of Santorini and intended for those stopping off from an onward cruise or those of you island hopping and set with a limited amount of time.

I will give you an insiders view of some of the places you will be sure to want to see and photograph for that ever lasting impression and a reminder for years to come, with it's stunning vistas and truly amazing sunsets Santorini has a character all it's own, you are sure to leave breathless.

You won't find any silly, coloured placards here, no over crowded public buses either. I'll pick you up at your hotel or villa and drop you off at the end of the day. In the meantime, I'll take you to some of Santorini's beautiful locations, the beaches, traditional villages, the many churches and some wonderful tavernas right on the sea. There you will be able to watch the sunset over some local Greek wine and a variety of it's local fare.

Steeped in history, and a mythology believed by many to be the location of the Lost Atlantis, it is home to the most cataclysmic event known to man and the possible reason for the ending of the Minoen civilization. A natural explosion causing the displacement of the center of the island, creating one of the largest calderas in the world, and in part the creation of it's present shape of islands as we see it today.

If you've never been  to Santorini and are interested in photography or improving your current photographic skill set I can help you make good images, great images. Whether you are here for a short time or many days, be it an amateur with a point and shoot hand held camera or a more serious photographer with a dslr or hey, you just want an insiders view of the island. Whether you are alone or a group of four people, I'm here to help you with you with your requirements.

Two people for 150 euro, maximum six persons. 350 euro.

What's Included:

Air conditioned car. Pick up and drop of at your hotel.

Cultural Santorini / Santorin de Culture

A cave winery with an art exhibition hall, an old tomato factory and a Venetian castle that exhibits wind instruments: what do all three have in common? They are part of the tradition of Santorini as well asits culture and history.

Quel est le point commun entre une cave troglodyte et une exposition artistique? Entre une vielle usine de tomate et une tour vénitienne avec démonstration des instruments musicaux?Tous font parti de la tradition
de Santorin,présente dans sa culture et son histoire.

“Arts Factory” is a centre with the exhibition hall within the pumice rock, the old pre-industrial winery with distilling equipment preserved intact, and ovens of the old steadings.

The “Industrial Tomato Factory” is a cultural venue with an exhibition of old tools, elaboration machinery, manuscripts, first product labels. Visitors are guided through the cultivation, processing and production of tomato.

At “La Ponta” there is an exhibition of folk wind instruments, and workshop of traditional Greek percussion and flutes.
