I went to Xi'an by myself last weekend (November 2011) and by luck I found this website and decided to hire Linda for one day to take me around the city sights. I only had one day to see everything in the city (I went to the terracotta warriors the prvious day) and Linda made it possible for me. We used taxis and scooters to get around and I managed to see everything on my crammed itinerary; temple of eight immortals (highly recommended!!!), antique market, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Little Wild Goose Pagoda and museum, the drum tower, Muslim street (Linda took me to a fantastic local restaurant to try the typical Xi'an food which was delicious) and the Grand Mosque. After all that, I was exhausted but Linda seemed indefatigable and showed me to the airport shuttle bus at the end of the day.
I can honestly say without Linda's guidance, local knowledge of shortcuts, problem solving and interpreting I would barely have got through a few of the sights I wanted to see. She spoke excellent English and knew the history and relevance of everything I asked. She was always calm and has a pleasant personality, she won't annoy you even if you spend all day with her. She was indispensible when shopping for antiques to get good prices and for advice on purchases. A highlight of my trip was having my fortune read by a Taoist preist at the temple of eight immortals, Linda was able to translate for me - without her it would not have been possible, Finally, Linda can take good photos of you and help you with your stuff if you are travelling by yourself!
I would not hesitate to recommend Linda for your guide in Xi'an, you can trust her to make your plans and ideas come true. THANK YOU LINDA!!!!!!!

We visited Xian for two days in mid October 2011. Linda was our guide for one day. She took us to the terra cotta warriors, the City Walls and the Goose Pagoda. Xian is a very beautiful town, full of history and offers plenty of choice to the visitors. Linda was a great guide and did her best to explain and show us many interesting things in a short time. In the evening we went to a Tang Dinasty show and Linda arranged for the tickets. Linda speaks very well English, she offered us valuable information and other useful tips regarding our stay in Xian. We definitely recommend Linda to anyone who needs a guide in Xian as she is very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and kind.

My wife and I were in China in November 2011 and did not want to leave without seeing Xi'an. After flying to Xi'an from Beijing, we had a short day (half day really) and Linda Guo picked us up with a driver at the airport and showed us the Qin dynasty terra cotta warriors museum and the Han dynasty Xuzhou terra cotta figure museum. They were a good half day visit and nice to see both museums to compare the different types of funerary figurines from the early dynasties. Linda was a great host, speaks English fluently, and showed us a nice spot for some good fast food during our busy day. We toured in a modern sedan, and our driver was excellent. Linda coordinated with us via email before the trip, met us at the airport and got us back for our evening flight without any delay. I can highly recommend her services if you are in Xi'an. Thanks again Linda!

My family visited Xian in Oct 2011. The visit was a most enjoyable one as we had ideal weather and a good guide in Linda. There is so much Xian offers a visitor and Linda did her best to share the city with my husband, my son and myself. In addition to speaking good English, Linda has a restful personality, something we appreciated given the crowds at some of Xian's most popular attractions.
Linda is knowledgeable, helpful and conscientious, essential qualities for a guide. I am sure you will find that out for yourself when you engage her to take you around.
