Borrowing a proverb, I am Jack of all trades , master of tours, dumplings class, tea ceremony, Chinese poetry. I am a passionate guide with 12 years guiding experience, with in-depth knowledge about our history, culture, i often combine my talents dumping making and tea ceremony, poetry appreciation, singing in my tours make me stand out as a very unique guide and like a close friend to my customers.

My studying and working experience:
2000-2003 : Studied in Dalian Foreign Language University
2003-2005: Secretary job living and working in Istanbul Turkey.
2005-2007: Studying in Nanyang Institute of Management in Singapore
2007-2009 : Working in Beijing in tourism industry as tour coordinator
2009-2019: Living and Working in Shanghai till now, I have hosted guests from over 100 countries from solo traveler one day tour to government delegation above 30 guests traveling 15 days in China. I also often work as a travel guide and business assistant for my clients who visit factories, suppliers, souring products.

Besides work, I have many hobbies such as singing, reading poetry, collecting art, hiking, cooking, photography, horse riding and tea culture. After 3 years immersed into tea studying, I obtained a certificate as tea specialist 2018, and since then tea has become an intrinsic part of our tours. When time allows I travel abroad to explore different cultures, learn history, local lifestyle, local cuisines and visiting friends. I use my own travel as an inspiration to develop my tours and I enjoy living as local when I am traveling, I like to find hidden gems, do what locals enjoying doing........

We will always remember this tour My group is here for business so we were thrilled to find an evening tour that we can take from Shanghai after the business day. Miki is the easiest guide, flexible, full of great information and created many experiences in one evening. My colleagues are STILL talking about how this was one of the top tours and best sites they have ever experienced. There is a 1+ hour ride out of the city in a comfortable AC vehicle - it is worth it to see rural China. We took over 100 pictures, had fun failing at creating the perfect dumpling, heard a sitar played with a local meal, tea tasting with Miki who is a tea expert and a wine tasting. There is a boat ride in the water town which is a similar experience to the gondolas in Venice. This was so beautiful and fun, everyone raved about Miki and we laughed many times. Beautiful tour through the ancient Water Towns with Miki In September I had a completely customized tour through the Shanghai region together with Miki as my guide. She is a very friendly and knowledgeable person and I see her more as a good friend than a tour guide. Coming from Suzhou driving to Shanghai we stopped at several water towns on the way. All of them different. Some authentic, some rebuilt while others are filled with a buzzing nightlife. So, whatever your taste, this tour got something for everyone. We first started our day in the towns with a boat ride to Miki's own tea house and had lunch as well as showing me a Chinese tea ceremony. Her knowledge and passion for arts and culture are really impressive. And the tea house itself is quite lovely. For me, it was one of my favorite parts of the day. Later that day we walked through several old towns. Currently many are getting rebuilt/renovated. So you can see everything from authentic to new. I added some pictures to show the look of the streets, bridges, and canals. The look is quite unique in China from what I've seen so far and it reminded me a bit about Venice or Amsterdam but with an East Asian touch. As the sun was going down we visited the touristic nightlife city. Signs, Discos, and Shops everywhere. If you want to spend a night partying, here is your place. But even if you would rather take some pictures, you won't be disappointed. All in all, I can only recommend this tour and Miki as a guide. Wherever you decide to explore the Shanghai region, I think you can't go wrong with stopping by the water towns. Read less

Miki - Tour Guide, Concierge, Transport Agent, Crooner, Friend and Family - all rolled into one! We booked Miki for our trip to Shanghai and Hangzhou in advance. Over email, she and her team were super-responsive and very helpful with tips, such as installing WeChat & VPNs, and suggesting what to do and what to leave. Our pick up from the airport went smoothly. But our first day of sightseeing began on a cloudy, rainy and cold note. We were reconciled to a somewhat muted experience of Shanghai. Instead, we found a bright smiling Miki in the lobby, determined to make us have a great time! Her infectious charm and love for the city imbued us with energy. Despite a steady drizzle, she got us out of the bus, under our umbrellas and wove engaging stories around the monuments and buildings on the Bund, the various quarters and their histories, and even managed to show us a glimpse of the poor neighborhoods of Shanghai that are vanishing with redevelopment. Before we left Shanghai, we had a day without a guide, but Miki insisted on helping us plan it and even orchestrated our pick up and drops through her Didi app! On our days out to Suzhou and Hangzhou, her solicitousness towards my father and his comfort were touching. She always kept an eye out for how we were faring as a group and was quick to change plans and tailor the day to our needs. Once, the driver of our vehicle was a bit unresponsive. By the next halt, she had already managed a change of vehicle over the phone! As it came closer to the time we'd say goodbye, she regaled us with evocative Chinese songs (rendered beautifully) native to the area we were visiting. Having seen our love for the local food we ate, she had bought appropriate presents for us! We felt a lump in our throats as we bid adieu. Months later, on Wechat, we got talking again, as if we were family, and she assisted with our plans for visiting another part of China. It felt as if we were talking to family. Read less

Miki, The Absolute Best Tour Guide Ever! Recently I accompanied my sister on a business trip to Shanghai. I am from Louisiana in the US and my sister lined up Miki for a day. She is the absolute best! She took me to visit Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, and Zhujijiao Water Town. At each stop she was informative, knowledgeable, and made every effort to make sure I was treated special. She read a poem to me, she prepared tea for me, she sang a song during our boat ride, and added every special treat she possibly could. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants top quality in customer service. She was an absolute sweatheart! Miki is the best and has so much love and passion for what she does!
