Borrowing a proverb, I am Jack of all trades , master of tours, dumplings class, tea ceremony, Chinese poetry. I am a passionate guide with 12 years guiding experience, with in-depth knowledge about our history, culture, i often combine my talents dumping making and tea ceremony, poetry appreciation, singing in my tours make me stand out as a very unique guide and like a close friend to my customers.

My studying and working experience:
2000-2003 : Studied in Dalian Foreign Language University
2003-2005: Secretary job living and working in Istanbul Turkey.
2005-2007: Studying in Nanyang Institute of Management in Singapore
2007-2009 : Working in Beijing in tourism industry as tour coordinator
2009-2019: Living and Working in Shanghai till now, I have hosted guests from over 100 countries from solo traveler one day tour to government delegation above 30 guests traveling 15 days in China. I also often work as a travel guide and business assistant for my clients who visit factories, suppliers, souring products.

Besides work, I have many hobbies such as singing, reading poetry, collecting art, hiking, cooking, photography, horse riding and tea culture. After 3 years immersed into tea studying, I obtained a certificate as tea specialist 2018, and since then tea has become an intrinsic part of our tours. When time allows I travel abroad to explore different cultures, learn history, local lifestyle, local cuisines and visiting friends. I use my own travel as an inspiration to develop my tours and I enjoy living as local when I am traveling, I like to find hidden gems, do what locals enjoying doing........

Just amazing ... the best tour ever ...... anywhere !! From the first email to Miki, the tour organisation worked like clockwork. Miki is the perfect tour guide - she knows Shanghai like the back of her hand and speaks English fluently. It's like sightseeing with a local friend who speaks Chinese. In fact my wife and I ended up having a beer with her in a great bar in a water village called Xitang, which we visited at night ..... this is a must. The standard tours can be bespoked and we wanted to see more of real Shanghai ... not just the main attractions. Miki personalised our tour and we had the perfect day. Miki Wei Rock!! Exceptional services with personal touch was provided to us by Miki Wei. We surely wouldn't have enjoyed to this extent our visit to to Xitang and Hangzou. She made sure our stay to become a memorable one. She even helped me in my shopping and taught us making vege dumplings which was additional bonus. Her choice of restaurants serving Indian vegetarian cuisine made our stay super easy in China. Additionally, she carried her tea set for us to enjoy it over boat.She spoiled my kids with toys, umbrella and candies like a family member. She simply is dedicated and in love with her work. Exceptional possibility to see Shanghai!! With Miki tour our family / 2+2 jaded teenagers / had an exceptional and unique possibility to see, hear, “touch” Shanghai and lots of other amazing places! She was so much engaged, has broad knowledge about the city and China and was eager to share it with smile, enthusiasm and sense of humour. Everything was perfectly prepared, well planed and run according to our plan. Miki gave us much more than nice time in China, we have got unforgettable memories I cannot imagine She could do anything better. Can’t wait to see her in Poland! Highlight of our trip!!! Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Communication was quick and easy. Miki is friendly, funny and full of information - it felt like having a good friend show us around. Perfectly paced tour, with time for strolling. Most incredibly, Miki managed to make the entire tour gluten free - snacks, dumplings, and dinner out. We were delighted with how this tour went, and cannot thank Miki enough. A truly wonderful day. Fantastic (and especially with our young kids)! Miki took our family of four, including children aged 7 years and 5 years, on a one day tour of Shanghai. Miki speaks great English and has a very engaging and affable personality, we felt immediately at ease. She was also very good with the kids, involving them in everything we were doing and always thinking about whether they were ok, if we should stop for a break/drink etc on what was quite a hot day. Driver was included and we saw lots of interesting sites but the highlight was probably when Miki took us to a park and got out various Chinese teas for us to try. Was a lovely experience sitting in a pretty park sampling the teas and it clearly had an impact on my son who now has his own tea pot back home and regularly drinks Chinese tea! Highly recommended! We were picked up at the airport very early in the morning and dropped at the hotel. Next day we toured with Miki for 2 full days. Packed with activities. Miki has a passion for traveling. Very knowledgeable in many fields. Miki worked in Turkey for 2 years and traveled in Europe many times. She lives poetry and all about tea ceremonies. Very kind and classy lady. Beside the regular tourist sites she took us to special placed. My wife suggested that she would like to learn how to make dumplings. Miki arranged with a friend of hers in Xitang and we toured these amazing water town that very few foreigners go to. It is a romantic CHINESE destination. We learned how to make dumplings in her friend home and had the best dinner so far. Later at night Miki took us on a gondola ride. My kids loved it. We parted at around 10 pm after a full & busy day of beautiful activity. If you are interested in CHINESE culture and history than Miki is your choice. I felt that I got a better value for my money.
