Walking in Africa is the most common means to get about. The lack of an elaborate road and trail network leaves a huge percentage of the rural population with no choice but to trek as their only means of transport. This has given rise to phenomenal foot path network that are in use every day all over the Continent. Dating far back as anyone would remember, they are an integral part of life in the countryside.
