Monika has given me the most delightful experience I've had during my one-day visit to the colourful city of Agra. She is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and flexible with the pre-planned tour itinerary. We visited the Taj Mahal, and the outside of the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. I am amazed by her excellent memory and there was not a single question she couldn't answer regarding those historical sites. Also, if you're looking for good photos for keepsake, Monika knows exactly the perfect angles for such photos! What really touched me was when Monika went above and beyond to make additional arrangements for me after the tour - at her own initiative. My tour had ended in the afternoon and my train back to Delhi was in the evening, leaving me with several hours to spare. She found me a waiting area at her friend's hotel Panna Paradise (amazing hotel with great location) and arranged for lunch at her own expense. We even went for a walk to a nearby shopping mall for ice cream with her friend after. It takes a truly passionate guide to do the things Monika does. I'd definitely call her out during my next trip to Agra and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a guide in the city! Read less

Monila arranged a 6 day tour from delhi through agra to jaipur and udaipur for my self and a colleague. From our first contact, Monika's quick detailed replies soon gave me confidence that she was a tour guide who was very knowledgeable and trustworthy She particularly paid special attention to our slightly quirky requirements, such as how to avoid 'Indian' stomach! As a result I engaged Monika for our tour, including the reservations of our hotels.

On arrival in Delhi, she was waiting with her driver and a nice car. Immediately we were impressed by her professional approach, but more than this her sense of fun and friendliness won our hearts. The first day was a gentle beginning visiting 2 sites and a little shopping. The following day we headed to Agra for the Fort and the Taj Mahal. Here monika even managed to arrange for us to see some things not normally available to the public. We also had the chance to visit local craftsmen of the highest quality and Monika took us to several to look for a particular item.. The next day we moved on to Jaipur...stopping en route at Fatephur Sikri and Aberneri. We arrived in time for 2 visits in Jaipur before retiring late in the day.

Another night's rest, set us up for the amber fort anf the hawa Mahal. Then we set off for Udaipur..an amazing journey. The driver was brilliant and as it got dark he certainy earned his money dodging lorries, buses, cows buffalos!. Our final day saw us visit 2 sites before the city palace and then a trip on the lake. Even as we came to the end of our tour Monika was still arranging for us to get separately to the airport, finding us drivers and arraging a final meal!

It was all a very memorable experience, and i would have no hesitation in recommending Monika as a tour guide, tour organiser and a friend!
