We've been to China for one month and we decided to book a tour with Alvin for 10 days in Yunnan Province. This is the best decision we made. Alvin is really amazing: first, he's a good driver, his car is really comfortable, and big enough for 2 persons. He really cared about us all along the trip. As he's a guide, you all the time get lots of information about history, Chinese culture or religions, etc. He's really interesting. He was also really helpful before our trip to help us and the communication was really easy as his English is perfect. Even when he was speaking, he has absolutely no accent. We could chat by WeChat with him even if we were not with him if we got questions about the day after or so. He could visit some attractions with us, but most of the time, we were free to do by ourselves, so we appreciated to be able to visit at our own pace. But the most important thing you have to know is that Alvin is a really nice person. He was so kind and nice, we had the feeling to be with a friend and not with someone we just met 2 days ago. We felt so comfortable with him, it was a real pleasure to visit his province with him. He's always enthusiastic about everything! Alvin conducted our 3 day tour in lijiang and Shangri-La. He is kind and very informative. He has a lot of knowledge about all the places we went on this trip. He even recommended some places to us and knows the best places for shopping. As we are muslims, we needed to have halal meals and he knows the halal restaurants in every area. He is very helpful. Always helped with our luggage and helped with making some online payments through wechat. Also a very good photographer. Best trip ever :blue_heart:. I highly recommend him. Read less

We booked Alvin to take us around Kunming-Dali-Lijiang area for 8 days and he was excellent! He suggested places to visit, helped us refine our itinerary and brought us to the train station to buy our train tickets. He was always early at our appointed time and is a careful driver. His car is very clean and comfortable for the 3 of us and all our luggage. He listened to our likes and dislikes and catered to them well. We made sure to take care of us and even offered to send me to the hospital when I was not feeling well. He was flexible to our changing schedules and we enjoyed his company, especially our 8 year old daughter who cried when it was time to say Goodbye to Uncle Alvin! Alvin was very informative and my husband enjoyed all his sharing especially the historical bits. He is a very humble, polite and simple guy and very responsive to our messages on WeChat.
