All I want to do is rave about my experience in Iran, but then I get so overwhelmed by the incredible memories of all the things we did and saw, and I have no idea how to start! As such, I will keep this simple.

If you're hesitant about going to Iran, don't be. Iranians are unbelievably kind, warm, and welcoming. Everywhere we went, we were met with a chorus of "Hello! Welcome to Iran! Where are you from?" It didn't matter if it was a group of school children, 20 year olds, or the elderly. Iranians love people, are curious, and want to make a connection. It's wonderful.

As for Hamed, he's not a guide. He's a true friend you just haven't met yet. Of course, in terms of being a guide, he is unparalleled. Hamed is incredibly knowledgeable, his plan is exquisite, and his level of dedication and professionalism is above and beyond. But it's his warmth, generosity, and attentiveness that really set him apart. He will do everything in his power to make sure you have an unforgettable trip, tailored how you like, all with a song and a smile. He's passionate about his work because he loves people, his culture, and his joy in introducing the two to one another is evident.

Iran is a treasure waiting to be discovered, and I cannot recommend it, or Hamed, enough.

We, Nima and Christophe, two guys from the Swiss Alps spent two weeks in Iran in late October 2015. We were lucky to find the contact details of Hamed on the Internet. Since the beginning, even when we were exchanging e-mails to plan the trip; Hamed has been really professional, precise and punctual in replying and scheduling our trip.

My husband and I traveled in Central Iran for 9 days in September 2015, and this trip has been fantastic thanks to Hamed. 

Hamed was very responsive and helpful already while planning the trip. He responded to our first email within hours, and this pattern continued with all 35 emails that followed :) Very promptly he prepared an itinerary matching our interests and timetable. Hamed was also very efficient in booking us hotels (exactly of the price level and type that we wanted), internal flights and advising and helping with visa application.

During the trip Hamed put all the effort to show us everything that was planned. Our time was quite limited for everything we wanted to see but Hamed sometimes even convinced the guards to let us in the sites when they were closing.

Hamed is a person who seems to have and make friends everywhere. One of our goals in Iran was to talk to as many local people as possible, and this worked very well because Hamed introduced us to his great friends. That's how we were invited to three private homes in Iran throughout our trip - something we appreciated very much.

As a guide Hamed is very knowledgeable but also he doesn't burden his guests with too much information. All the information that he gives when visiting sites is interesting and memorable. While telling other people about our trip we realise how knowledgeable we have become about Iran because of what Hamed said and because of how he said it. It was also very interesting to talk to him about Iranian society - he has his opinions and enjoys discussions.

Despite of intensive itinerary we had many laughs and relaxed moments with Hamed. All together we appreciated great local foods, tried to find the best coffee in Iran and fell in love with the popular drink made from ice cream and carrot juice.

We will always fondly remember our trip to Iran and we wish Hamed a lot of success and interesting tours in the future.

EXCELLENT TOUR GUIDE!

In Sept 2015 I decided to spend six days in Iran. I contacted Hamed and engaged him as tour guide. The experience for me was absolutely fantastic.Hamed suggested a six day itinerary, we agreed, and he booked the accommodation and everything else. We had a wonderful time and I would not have seen as much and experienced as much without his guidance and expert knowledge. He drove me around in his own car and showed all the interesting historical and cultural places.

Hamed is very experienced as a tour guide and very knowledgeable about Iran, its history, people, culture, geography and so on. He has a great sense of humour and within a short period of time he became more than a tour guide and really a friend. We laughed a lot and discussed all sorts of things, from Iran history, current affairs and personal issues. We have become good friends and keep on contacting each other now long after the trip. (Whatsapp is wonderful!)

Visiting a new country where they don't speak a lot of english can be a bit daunting and trusting someone on the internet even more so. However, I can fully recommend Hamed. He is very trustworthy and will help you experience Iran much more intimately than what you would be able to do through a Lonely Planet guide book. He knows all the local areas to go to ensuring that you will have a very enriching experience.

EXCELLENT TOUR GUIDE!

In September 2015, I spent six days with Hamed as my guide touring Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz. Hamed arranged everything, accommodation, tour stops, places to see, where to eat and so on. I had an excellent tour with him and nothing was too much effort. He was very professional and went out of his way to ensure that everything went smoothly. Hamed is very knowledgeable about his Iran, the culture, history, people, economy, geography. Not only is he very professional and trust worthy, but as a tour guide he became more like a friend, we could joke and laugh together, talk about personal issues and generally enjoy each other's company.

It is a bit daunting going to a strange country and put all your trust in someone that you don't know. Hamed made it very easy and I had a wonderful time. I fully recommend Hamed - you will not be disappointed!
