We, Aicha and Miranda had the chance to use Hamed's services when we went to Iran in April 2016. We spent 10 unforgettable days. Thanks to Hamed we could not only experience Iran from architectural and historical perspectives but most importantly, Hamed enabled us to have access to its people and experience the unique openness and hospitality of Iranians. My seventh trip to Iran is coming up. And I can't wait to land in Tehran and see my dear friend and cultural companion Hamed.  We have amazing adventures together.  I could say all sorts of stuff to let you know how fabulous he is but I think that the mere fact that I keep going back to his country and using his innumerable services says it all.

Let me tell you 10 things about Mr Hamed Dustpak, an official licensed driver guide for Iran.

1. He answered via email and skype many of my questions about Iran, its places of interest, routes, distances and told me many other practical touristic things.
2.  He applied for my visa reference code, successfully, and helped me with many other issues concerning the Iranian visa.
3. He booked all the hotels for me. He organized my meeting and transfer from the International airport to my hotel and also, later, from the Domestic  airport to the International one.
4. He kindly invited me to his parents’ house in Astara and presented me with a very interesting opportunity to submerge into the everyday life of an Iranian family.
5. He introduced me to the Iranian music and its story, sang me some traditional songs and even played songs on a traditional Iranian instrument tar (which he’s very good at!).
6. He explained to me many things about traditional Iranian arts and crafts and helped me to buy some great and interesting souvenirs. Hamed is very strict about not visiting some overpriced shops.
7. One day when he was unable to accompany me he invited another guide for me, a very professional one.
8. Hamed showed me all the important places of interest on our way – and also some more, many of which are rarely visited by casual tourists.
9. He is a very interesting person to talk with, nice traveling companion and a very, very good friend. It was amazing  to talk with him about life in Iran, its particularities and its history. His deep and wide knowledge of Iran and fluent English makes Hamed a great talking partner.
10. We had a lot of laugh and good fun along the way!

That’s all what I have to say, and it’s up to you to decide who you will choose for your guide. But one thing is for sure: Iran is a fantastic and very special place which is simply a must see!

          We spent two weeks road tripping with Hamed trough Central and Southern  Iran, and had a fantastic time. Throughout our time in Iran Hamed was our guardian angel. He arranged all of our visa paper work, which as a group of three Canadians was a daunting task. Hamed was always flexible and willing to tailor our trip to suit our preferences and assure we had exactly the experience we were looking for.  He is also incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to Iranian culture, history and art, he's also happy to share his own views on life in Iran and in the outside world. Hamed is smart, funny, kind and knows Iran like the back of his hand.  He's also an expert in finding great places to eat and shop on any budget. Hamed was always helpful and constructive when it came finding solutions and any whim or problem we came to him with during our trip. Hamed is easy going, fun to be around and generally a joy to travel with. He is also an expert in navigating Iran's bizarre and at times terrifying traffic. Iran is a really spectacular country to visit and you could not do it in better hands than Hamed's, book with him and you will have a rewarding, safe and fun trip.

My wife Shahidah and I visited Iran for three weeks in November 2015 and Hamed was our guide and driver for all of that time. From first contact he helped us arrange the itinerary, book places to stay and apply for visas. He was always available to answer questions and to provide information during the preparations for our trip. He listened to our needs and helped us plan a holiday that suited our interests and abilities.

During our trip Hamed was always there for us, even when we were quite demanding. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, fun and encouraging, and he made every day a day to remember. From ancient sites and mosques, to wonderful bazaars and tea houses, Hamed knew all the best spots. Not to mention challenging hikes in the mountains and the desert, or the hidden gems off the beaten track. And of course there's his tar playing and singing as an added bonus!

Our trip to Iran was the best trip we have ever had, and Hamed did everything he could to make sure this was the case. 

What else can I say? Hamed was an excellent Guide, and is now a very good friend!!

Oh and just in case you're still in that place where you are asking yourself, is Iran the place for me.. GO! ...Iran is THE PLACE!!
