I am a Licensed Tour Guide & Tour Operator in Iran, authorized to organize tours for Americans and accompany them by the national tourism organization (listed as special guide for Americans, Brits and Canadians in the Iranian MFA guide's list, able to provide Iranian visa support). I graduated in electrical and electronic engineering in 2003.

We travelled Iran with Hamed as part of our Mongol Rally 2016 trip and couldn't have asked for a better guide. Our time with Hamed in Iran was the highlight of our whole trip, and we got to know him as a friend rather than a tour guide. We were only in Iran for a short time (5 days), but Hamed managed to fit a lot in during this time and we got a great insight into Iranian life and culture and a lot of food. Hamed introduced us to his family and friends, who were incredibly welcoming and made us feel more like friends than clients. We had a fantastic time with Hamed on our way through Iran while doing the Mongol Rally. We saw some beautiful sights, had some good laughs, and enjoyed excellent food. His family is super nice, and we enjoyed an wonderful evening with them as well, listening to music and eating home-cooked dishes. When we arrived in Iran we brought our own car into the country, and with it a slew of paperwork--Hamed was more than willing to help us arrange Carnets and papers at the border, which would have been a nightmare on our own! Iran is a beautiful country with some of the nicest people in the world! All in all we enjoyed a great tour, and Hamed made it that much better. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Read less

Having spent 20 days on a tour of Iran with Hamed he is probably one of the best guides you could hope for. Hamed is professional in his preparations, incredibly knowledgeable about the history and places, and is passionate about Persian history and culture. Even though he has visited the sites before he is so enthusiastic it is almost as though he is discovering them himself. He is keen to show everything so expect full days and excellent English explanations. Make sure you discuss your requirements beforehand, the type of hotel you like, places you want to see and any special excursions and he will try and fit them in. He has a great sense of humour and it is a pleasure to spend time with him. We enjoyed a wide variety of experiences, from visiting the famous sights, to eating in local restaurants and staying in villages and even a cave hotel, and visiting some of the fabulous variety of scenery Iran has to offer. We would use Hamed again when we revisit Iran. Read less

Hamad arranged a tour of Iran for us and was our guide for most of our time, arranging for other guides to meet us at the border of Turkey and go with us to the border with Turkmenistan at the beginning and end of our tour. He was always polite, helpful, friendly, understanding and knowledgeable with a passion for sharing the culture and history of his home, Iran with us. He made the whole trip enjoyable and fun, and introduced us to people and experiences we would never have had on our own, visiting and eating with nomads, sleeping in a cave.
