We hired Vivie for the day for the Mutianya Great Wall of China and the Ming Tombs tour, but after much discussion with Vivie we decided to go to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace instead and was very glad we took her advice. We had lots of conversations about many different topics and she made us feel very comfortable from the moment we met her. She is an excellent driver and her knowledge of Chinese history was so interesting that I now want to know more. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was always willing to provide the best service possible. After the tour Vivie also arranged for tickets to the Kung Fu show for us, she waited outside our motel whilst we changed and drove us to the theatre as well. We couldn't have asked for anything more, Vivie was such a wonderful and professional guide and made our day very special.

Vivie  speaks good English and is very knowledgeable on China’s history and the areas she covers. We are in our mid 70s and Vivie was very protective of us and helpful in the areas we needed special assistance. We can recommend Vivie with no second thoughts.

Vivie was our guide in Beijing at the end of a long trip to the major cities in China.  Vivie met us at the airport and was immediately very cordial and hospitable.  She speaks excellent English and gives tours almost daily so she makes conversation well.  We did a comprehensive tour of all the major Beijing sights over 4 days, including some shopping (with Vivie’s help), a Chinese massage and dinner recommendations (after the tours by ourselves, however Vivie got us set up).  She is a licensed tour guide and charges a fair price – you don’t have to pay her entrance fee to anything.  In addition, she owns a car and was able to drive us to the Great Wall and Ming Tombs (for an additional fee).  Her knowledge of ancient Chinese history is excellent and she had answers to all of our questions.  Vivie helped us avoid common tourist traps/marked up prices and even got us refreshments (3RMB vs 15RMB) and show tickets (200RMB vs 280RMB) at her own discount price without any solicitation or pressure.  Vivie is very honest, smart and communicates well and truly wants her clients to have a good time in her city.  I highly recommend her.

we went to the great wall in the winter when it was snowing and i wore my red chinese dress called a qui pao or chi pao we took many pictures in the snow at the great wall and in the forbidden city. i experienced two tours on two diffrent times i went to beijing.  one in february and one in march. you can trust vivie with your life she is a master at touring. when u meet vivie you know you will be with an angel with a good heart and skilled  knowledge of points of interest and everything in beijing. to have vivie for a guide was an honor and privelage.
