We had three days in Beijing, being a family of four including two teenage girls.

Vivie arranged the trip for us through emails, and she was very easy to deal with and very attentive and swift with responses and suggestions.

What she did suggest turned out great. The Hotel was a real find, the Peking Duck we had told her we wanted to try was fantastic, local restaurants we tried were brilliant and all the activities were wonderful.

Vivie was very flexible with our needs and went out of her way to accomodate us. 8 hour days were frequently longer.

Vivie also had a large knowledge of the history, traditions and culture of the area and was very happy to pass it all along. We learnt so much in our short time and found her to be open, honest and very entertaining.

All of thoroughly enjoyed out time with Vivie and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone travelling to the area. If we go back I will definately be calling her.

I really enjoyed my 2 days in Beijing with Vivie - she is a knowledgeable and highly reliable tour guide who has good English communication skills.

Vivie was very helpful during  the tour including arranging train and show tickets at  good prices . I also enjoyed lunches at some good local ( non touristic ) restaurants especially tasting Beijing's  famous "Peking duck".

Vivie was recommended to us by a friend when we were planning our trip to Beijing.  She was very responsive, thorough and helpful as we developed the itinerary for our trip.  She is very personable and enjoys people.  Vivie has great knowledge of the Beijing sites and is flexible throughout each day to insure your time is well spent.  I cannot recommend her enough.  Contact her and you will be glad you did!  We will always remember the special time in Beijing and with Vivie.

Vivie helped us out during our trip to Beijing last March 2-5, 2013 as the first stop of our 4-city China trip. She was kind enough to fetch us at the airport even at midnight. Right then and there her warm and welcoming smiles set the tone for the rest of our stay in Beijing. She is everything you could ask for: Booked our sleeper train tickets to Xi'an in advance (and paid with her own money to book), created a tailor-made tour for us based on our requests, became our personal photographer, driver, and even our 5-year old son's play mate while we were busy enjoying the sights. She even went out of her way and waited for us to finish watching the acrobats show to bring us home instead of letting us ride a taxi even though our scheduled trip for the day was already done. We were also able to taste authentic Beijing Peking Duck lunch without drilling a hole in our pocket! At the tail end of our trip, she also made sure that we won't walk too far to get into the train station by dropping us off at the nearest and most convenient entrance. Her knowledge about the history is impeccable and she is very lively day in and day out. Vivie is more than a tour guide...she is a friend. I could go on and on talking about her, but to sum it up...Highly recommended...definitely the BEST one in Beijing!

We enjoyed having Vivie so much as our guide the first time in Beijing of course we did not hesitate to call on her again when returned with friends.  Even though it was my second time visiting many of the sights she was thoughtful enough to make the trip new and exciting for me too by including some areas that I had not seen. Vivie is organized, knowledgeable, easy to communicate with.  We thoroughly enjoy traveling with such a kind, friendly guide.  Thanks again Vivie for showing us such a fantastic time in Beijing!

Hello to future travelers to Beijing.

Just want to let you all know we had Vivie as our guide whilst in Beijing early April 2012.  

It was like meeting an old friend.  Vivie was warm, friendly , well organised and extremely punctual.

We found Vivie very engaging, her English great, and her knowledge about the culture and history of the region was amazing.

Vivie organised train tickets, for another planned  tour  to Datong, and  went out of her way to deliver them to our hotel, just hours after our arrival in Beijing.

On a personal level, Vivie helped me with a small problem I had, and I am so very grateful to her for that.

Vivie went over and beyond her duties in looking after us.

If you need a guide In Beijing, you can not go past Vivie Pan, she is an asset to the industry.   I highly recommend her.
