The Azadi Tower ("Freedom Tower"), formerly known as the Shahyad Tower ("King's Memorial Tower"), is a monument located at Azadi Square, in Tehran City, Iran. It is most important symbols of Tehran, and marks the west entrance to the city. It was commissioned by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, to mark 2,500 years of the Persian Empire.

After winning a competition, Hossein Amanat was tasked to design the tower, his client being the Council for Celebrations. His ideas were based upon Islamic Iranian and Sassanid architecture, popular influences on the arts during the 1960s due to the Shah's White Revolution. Iran's increasing wealth sparked modernization programs and sent the art industry into a renaissance-like period.

Golestan Palace In Tehran, once the heart of Tehran with all the glories and excess of the Qajar Monarch, is now a grand complex full of charming Persian art. The word Gol (flowers) e (of) Stan (land) translates to 'Land of Flowers.' 

It's the oldest of Tehran Iran's historic monuments, not to mention of world heritage status. The Golestan Palace belongs to a group of royal buildings that were once enclosed within the mud-thatched walls of Tehran’s Historic Arg (citadel). While together it's a masterpiece of beautiful gardens and royal buildings full of Iranian craft collections.

Tehran’s Historic Arg was built during the reign of Tahmasp I (r. 1524-1576) of the Safavid dynasty (1502–1736), and was later renovated by Karim Khan of Zand (r. 1750-1779). Agha Mohammad Khan of Qajar (1742–1797) chose Tehran as his capital. The Arg finally became the site of the Qajar monarch between the years 1794–1925, and was the official residence of the royal Qajar family for quite some time.

This is a name for the former Embassy of the United States of America in Tehran which was the United States of America's diplomatic mission in the Imperial State of Iran.

There is do much stories about this place and Im sure you have read about it. There are some wall painting and writing on it that usually tourists from other countries like to visit and take pictures with them!

Sometimes there are some exhibitions in the site and you can go inside and visit, but, often, you just can stand outside the walls!

Dizin is one of the largest Iranian ski resorts in the Alborz mountain range, near Tehran and also the city of Karaj. It was established in 1969.

The ski season in Dizin lasts longer than in European ski resorts, from December to May, due to the resort's high altitude. The highest ski lift reaches 3,600 m (11,800 ft), making it one of the 40 highest ski resorts in the world.

Dizin ski amenities include two hotels, 19 cottages and five restaurants, villas and private apartments around the Dizin ski resort accommodate thousands of people every year.
