Once I entered this temple, the atmosphere of incense heyday immediately made me feel very comfortable and quiet. It is a good place to relax and rethink.
   As the photos tell, believers pray luck and money for their families and friends. When I sat in the crowd as if I were a believer.
Lol, look at their devout faces. Though I am a skeptic, I still enjoy this place and these pictures.

Today, Maria will going to introduce a new landmark place of Guangzhou to all of you: Guangzhou Television Tower.

The construction of the tower was finished by Sep. 2009. And it is as high as 600 meters with 111 floors, including the transmitting antenna.

And it has become the highest tower in China, and third highest tower in the world.

Right now, it has turned to be a combination of sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping center in Guangzhou. 

Do not miss it, when you come to Guangzhou.

                                                                   Lingnan Impression

Hi, my dear friend. Welcome to China!

Today, I am going to introduce a very interesting and rich-cultured place in Guangzhou -- Lingnan Impression.

Lingnan Impression Park covers more than 16.5 hectare, which locates at the south of Higher Education Mega Center of Guangzhou in Panyu District.

And the park is similar to a theme park which emphasizes on the introduction and demonstration of Lingnan local amorous feelings and folk culture. (Lingnan mainly refers to Canton area, which generally includes Guangdong and Guangxi provinces)

This place is multifunctional tourist attraction, in which, sightseeing, relaxing programs, entertainment, hotels, restaurants, and stores are all available.

So, if you are interested in Guangdong culture, may be Lingnan Impression is the right place for you!

There are lots of people who come to Guangzhou for business trip. Meanwhile they would also like to have some shopping for the family and friends.
So people are wondering where is the best shopping area in Guangzhou?
Well there are three famous shopping area which is good for shopping but they all have different advantage.
If you are looking for luxury and original stuff, the best place would be Tmall which is located in tianhe district,Ti Yu Dong Lu. This is a big building more than 8 floors. You can find all luxury stuff inside and many good food as well. The products here are very good quality but price not cheap
If you are looking for good quality but price not too high,the best place would be in Beijing road.
This is one short street but all the time full with people walk around and do shopping
Here you will find lots of foreigners come for shopping and visit. By walking along Beijing lu,you will see some historic roads covered with glass in order to show people how the roads look like in old Ming Dynasty and remind us to cherish our happy life now because people are all living a poor and hard life during old times. Again walking straight on the road,you will see one street on the right side called Food street where you can find all kinds of food like thai food,Vietnam food,Taiwan food etc. If you do not get used with Chinese food,that will be the best place for you to visit and find food. Besides this,here you will see all kinds of shops selling clothing,shoes,watches,bags,belts,souvenior etc. The quality and price is fine but all the time still have to be careful checking everything when you buy something
If you are looking for cheap quality and price,then you must go to Shangxiajiu to have a visit.
This street is quite long. You will feel dazzeled by seeing so many shops and products. So in this place,you have to be more careful when buy something. Most places you can bargain but in some stores which they have prices and discount put in,it is much better to check first because you are not allowed to bargain normally
All in all,Guangzhou is good shopping place for your family and friends.You will find all things are cheaper than your country but do not buy original products because that will be more expensive than your country since we have to pay import tax here

      Last week, I with my best friend in college had a short trip in Guangzhou. I came to his let the first day. He rented in a scenic spot where we can see lots of old buildings. The second day we traveled around Huangpu Port. Really it is a good place that you can lead a peaceful life. But on my view, also it is a place for old people to live and the exhausted office workers to have a break. Especially I like the chirp of the ship, which has a ring.
     The third day, we went to Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Centre and stepped on a bicycle. That centre is so large that we left there an hour later, because we were dog-tired. The last day we went to Xiaozhou Village. Xiaozhou Village is formed by the alluvium of the sea, and so there are many river courses in it. There are many handwork workshops in Xiaozhou Village. The technical art called embroidery still remains. So we bought some gifts for our family and friends.
      Those days were very nice~
      To be honest, It is better to have one friend of great value than to have many friends of little value. You will feel very happy when you are with hin/her even though stay in a house whole day. And I remember what my friend said to me you donot have to prepare a lot of to welcome your real friend. Lol!! It sounds reasonable. You know what I mean.

For many foreign tourists, Guangzhou is a modern city, so modern that many of them think it is a culture dessert. However, Guangzhou is a city with a history of over 2,000 years.  Back in 214 BC, the first emperor  took over Guangzhou and set it as a state called Pan Yu. The name Pan Yu came from the two little hills which were located in downtown near Beijing Road but have been removed. One was called Pan and another was called Yu. About 10 years later, the state government claimed independence and formed a country called Nan Yue. The nation covered Canton, Hunan, Fujian, Guangxi, and part of the Vietnam. After 93 years and 5 generations of governance, the kingdom was turned down. And for all the following dynasty, Canton has never be independent. 

Guangzhou is the most dynamic, diverse, and compatible city in China. During the 2000 years, GZ has been the world trading center. The Silk Road started from GZ, and 2000 years ago. This is proved by the fact that many Archeological Finds in GZ has obvious Persian  trails. Even till now, GZ is still a world leading market places with hundreds and thousands kinds of good being sold to 200 countries in the world. 

Early 1840s, British invaded GZ and since then a book about how GZ people protected their homeland was uncovered. Wars, protests,and all kind of movements become an enormous driving force for the city development. The tradition remains and GZ has been rated the city with most speech freedom among all cities in China. 

Born and raised in this city, i gave it endless love from the bottom of my heart. 

Dragon boating is one of Chinese traditional avtivities with a thousand years history.
Traditionally, during the festival period,man from the same village will ride their boat to visit other village who has a good relationship with them.people would like to stop to watch & jump into the water to have a wash.we believe that that water can bring our good luck & bless the little grow fast & healthly.for some village who can afford to help a small race,they would invite their friends to join on the race.the trophy will be a big roasted pig for the winner,which means lucky & strong.at night,the whole hundreds villagers will get together to have a big meal near the river.
