This is China's first children's palace founded by Song Qingling, the former honorary president of China, on June 1st, 1953. The building was originally built in 1924 and served as the private mansion of a Jewish British merchant. It imitated the architectural style of European Palaces in the 18th century, very flamboyantly decorated inside.

This three-storey brick building is located right behind Jiu Guang Department Store next to Jing'an Temple. It used to be the residence of Liu Changsheng, the former deputy-secretary of the CPC Shanghai Committee. Once served as a secret party office, now it is open to the public free of charge as the exhibition hall displaying the history of struggle of CPC underground organization.

You can find graffiti in a few places in Shanghai but the ones on Moganshan Road by the Suzhou Creek is undoubtedly the best. In the past many local artists would gather here to practice their painting skills and display their creativity. Gradually the walls on this street became covered by layers upon layers of artistic works. After 50 Moganshan Road (M50) was turned into a creative art center, the local artists found a shelter so less people paint new pictures on the walls. Maybe one day this wall will be demolished and found in photos only.
