Wenhai is a nature wild lake at the feet of jade dragon snow mountain .
It's a place where we locals like to go for a relaxation. Wild flowers which we call gesanghua blooming in summer season from early May to end of sep. Different flowers for different months . It's our hidden paradise in our little local secrets.

No matter it's canons or phone cameras, any photos you take it will be a painting .

The lion mountain is also called Gemu Godess mountain , Gemu Goddess is kind-hearted, she always ride on a white horse, she protect mosuo people from disaster and Bless farmer a  good harvest . she is also The god of love and God of reproduction of Mosuo people.

July 25th in Chinese Lunar Calendar is an important festival of Gemu Godess,  Mosuo peple will hold a grand mountaining worship festival, mosou language called "Gemu Gua", meaning " mountain pilgrimage worship".  today early in the morning,mosuo people are all put on a new dress, fitted beautiful costumes, they will prepare delicious food and good wine, Then  climb to a holy cave of Gemu mountain, burn incense , provice sacrifice, burn incense and  pray the mountain godess.

This is considered an important holiday and festival. besides worshiping Goddess Gumu, they also worsip the god of heaven and earth, the sun god, the water god . The party activities Including singing, dancing. 

Jade Dragon snow mountain, a 5- A level of  scenic attraction in China.  Its the highest mountain of Yunling mountain range. with a hight of 5596m,  Its 35km long,  13 peaks are above 5000 meters.  It looks like a holy flying dragon when you see it from its west side and East side. the Best season to See the mountain is Oct to April.

Established in 2006, Lijiang Old town Glof course is 8 km from lijiang old town,  its located at south of Lijiang city at the foot of wenbi peak,  Near the lake of wenbihai ,  with the jade dragon snow mountain as the backdrop,  it was designed by Joe Obringer, with a length of 7661 yards, 18 holes and 72 pars.
