Reed Flute Cave

Reed Flute Cave known as “the Palace of Natural Arts” is located in the northwest of Guilin in southern China. According to a legend, Reed Flute Cave got its name because people believed that the reed by the cave’s mouth could be made into flutes. The limestone cave offers a majestic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Meet your guide and driver in the lobby and drive to the reed flute cave for 20mins, it takes about 50 mins to tour and enjoy the stunning stalactite and stalagmite scenery in the cave.

After visiting the reed flute cave, you will drive to the Diecai hill park, it takes about 1hour tour the park , firstly walk up to the top of Crane cave (101meter high), look over the beautiful Guilin city ,then walk down to the wind cave , feel the strong wind come out from the narrow gap and study the stone inscription on the walls of the cave , if you feel like it you can walk up to the bright moon hill (10mins) as well .

Then drive to Daxu ancient town, take the local boat across the river to reach Mao zhou island village , you will walk to the local farmer restaurant and taste the local organic food for lunch ,  after lunch you will go back to the ancient town and your guide will take you to explore the ancient town and visit the local mini museum house to learn about the old lifestyle and traditions of the local people.

After exploring Daxu ancient town  your driver will drive you back to the city center to visit the elephant trunk hill park to see the landmark of the city. Then you will walk for 10mins to the lakeside to see the sun and moon pagodas which is the business card of Guilin city, after the city highlight tour our driver and guide will take you safely back to your hotel.

Day 1. Airport pickup to Guilincity.   stay in Guilin Eva Inn   3*

Elephant Hill is situated in the confluenceof Li River and Peach River, is the symbol of Guilin, the full moon of the hill looks likeelephant' s trunk drinking water on Li River.

Reed Flute Cave is reputed as " the artpalace of the nature" where you can see beautiful stalactites,stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers with various shape, all glistening incolorful lights which create breathtaking splendor.

Day 2. Guilin---Yangshuo---li river cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo-- Longshengrice terraces..    stay in Pingan Hotel.  3*
Meet you at your hotel at 8:00 -8:30 andtransfer to Zhujiang pier at 9:30. Li River cruise (4 hours) to Yangshuo withlunch on board, you will feast your eyes with the reflection of fantastic peakswith various shapes, crystal clear water, green hills, bamboo groves, the riverpasses an endless procession of distinct peaks and bamboo groves and thestunning landscape.  Disembark at Yangshuo about 2 pm, roam in famous West Street.
Drive to Longshen rice terraces in theafternoon.

Day 3.  Longshengrice terraces-----Sanjiang chengyang bridge.  Stay in Dong village Hotel
Visit Pingan village and rice terraces, You will find nice woodenhouses, long hair women with colorful clothes, heavy, silver hat and earrings,customs and lifestyle. 
With its unique Dong minority architecture of Drum Towers,Wind and Rain Bridges and Dong minority buildings, youcan see wooden houses, river, waterwheels, villages and so on.

Day 4.  Sanjiang--Liuzhou.  stay in Liuzhou Grant Hotel. 4* 
        
Dalongtan Park is large and nice tourist area withkarst natural mountains, water and lake, trees, etc.
Night cruise at liu river,  is reputed one of the most beautifulcolorful night cruise in the world. 

Day 5. Liuzhou----Nanning city.    Stay in Jingtone Hotel   3*
SouthLake Park, Guangxi Museum and Qingxiu Mountain Scenic area.

South Lake Park is combination of water landscape and sub-tropical garden scenery. People have grown a lot plants and built pavilions around the lake andbecome more and more beautiful.

QingxiuMountain Scenic Area: Mt. Qingxiulies 5 kilometers away from the southeast of the city of Nanning, where ridges and peaks are risingand falling, magnificent, beautiful and forceful, with woods verdant, oldbanyan trees towering into the sky.

Day 6.  Nanning----MingshiScenery---Detian Waterfall.  Stay inDetian Hotel.
Mingshi Scenery is similiar to Yulong river,we can take bamboo boat for about 50 minutes to see rice paddies, peaks,villages, bamboo groves, it is called mini Li river.  it is more peacefulthen li river and Yulong river.
     
Day 7,  Detian Waterfall---Tongling Valley---Nanning.   stay inNanning Jingtone Hotel.  3*
Tongling Valley, it is a closed crayon withrectangle shape, about 37 kilometers from the Detian Waterfall. Visitors therecan enjoy the waterfall with the biggest drop in <st1:country-region w:st="on">China and the wonder of cliffburial, and visit the unique buildings in Zhuang style and the primeval forestwith many rare plants.

Day 8,  Transfer to airport for the nextdestination.
