    Hongluo Temple is located northeast of Beijing City. It's about 55 Kilometers far.  It's the biggest Buddhism Temple in the northern China. 

After the visit of Mutianyu Great Wall, Hongluo Temple if a very good choice.  It's about 7 kilometers far from the Great Wall. It was first built in the Dongjin Dynasty, (1670 years ago).       It is covers an area of 8 square kilometers and integrates the natural landscape with manmade features.  Hongluo Temple was renovated during Tang Dynasty. It was called Daming Temple at first, and changed its name Hongluo Temple during Ming Dynasty .

Hongluo Temple is located at the foot of Hongluo Mountain, which it's named after, there is also a lake called Hongluo lake nearby, good to go in the weekend for both the natural scenary and historical relics.
