There are more than 30 pieces of gold ware of great variety and exquisitite craftsmanship were excavated from Jinsha :gold masks,gold straps,circular gold adornments,frog-like gold adornments and bugle-shaped gold adornments.

the Jinsha Site Museum is one of the most representative venues to display the civilizations of the ancient Shua State. Situated in the western suburbs o Chengdu city,the Jinsha Site covers an area of over 50,000 sq km. the Site records the history of the capital of the ancient Shu State, which was the center of civilization of ancient China on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in the 12th-7th century BC. Over 1,000 cultural relics were excavated from the site . including over 30 gold wares, over 400 jadeobjects, over 400 bronze wares, 170 stone wares and over 40 ivory wares. The ivory unearthed weighs nearly one ton, plus a large number of pottery wares. Most cultural relics excavated were the products of the late Shang Dynasty ( 16th-11th century BC) and the early Western Zhou Dynasty( 11th century -770BC ),and a small number of them were from the Sping and Autumn period (770-476BC). Along with the further excavation, we probably will have important discoveries.
The " Sun Bird", " Jade Square Pillar" and "colored wooden figurines" are the mo st exquisite cultural relics excavated from the Jinsha Site, known as the three excellences of the site. In particular, the " Sun Bird" , decorated with gold foil, is only 0.02cm thick. its pattern has been designed as the mark of China's cultural heritages.

at around 17:00 finish Sanxingdui and drive back to Chengdu hotel

Day 2, Chengdu city sightseeing tour, including old part of the downtown, Jinli street and wide alley; and People's park where the best place to know local's life; Jinsha site museum or Dufu thatched cottage, join the cooking class for typical Sichuan dishes and then enjoy the Sichuan wonderful cuisine!

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1 Panda Base-Wangjiang Tower Park-Wuhou Temple-Sichuan opera
Morning 07:30 pick you up from your hotel and drive to Chengdu Panda Base (half an hour drive). You will catch pandas' feeding time, they are at their most active period. You can still see the Red Panda there too. Later watch the film at Panda Museum to know the panda's daily life, Baby getting birth, ect. ( Visiting 1.5-2hours). Drive back to Chengdu Downtown travel in Wuhou temple, and have local snacks for lunch at Jinli street, and have a short walk at old Jinli street.
Afternoon visit Wangjiang Tower Park, you'll stroll along the scenic paths to historic pavilions and halls built in memory of Xuetao, a female poet of the Tang Dynasty. The park is also home to Chongli Tower, with a four-story view of lush riverside bamboo and willows. Drink tea inside the park as local people do, then have the famous Sichuan hot-pot for dinner.
After dinner enjoy the cultural show - Sichuan Opera at Traditional Tea house, which lasts for 1.5 hours. Then drive back to your hotel.
Day 2 Jinsha site museum-The Thatched Cottage of Du Fu-Wenshu Monastery
Morning around 08:30 pick you up from your hotel, drive to visit Jinsha site museum which built on the orginal sites to show chengdu’s history can be tracked back to 3000 years ago. Then visit the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, the former residence of a very famous Tang poet. Du Fu wrote more than 240 poems at this cottage reflecting the sorrows of the village. Have the local sichuan dishes for lunch.
Afternoon drive to visit the Wenshu Monastery. Then drive back to your hotel, end this wonderful tour.
