DETAILED ITINERARY

Meet your guide and driver in the lobby and drive to the reed flute cave for 20mins, it takes about 50 mins to tour and enjoy the stunning stalactite and stalagmite scenery in the cave.

After visiting the reed flute cave, you will drive to the Diecai hill park, it takes about 1hour tour the park , firstly walk up to the top of Crane cave (101meter high), look over the beautiful Guilin city ,then walk down to the wind cave , feel the strong wind come out from the narrow gap and study the stone inscription on the walls of the cave , if you feel like it you can walk up to the bright moon hill (10mins) as well .

Then drive to Daxu ancient town, take the local boat across the river to reach Mao zhou island village , you will walk to the local farmer restaurant and taste the local organic food for lunch ,  after lunch you will go back to the ancient town and your guide will take you to explore the ancient town and visit the local mini museum house to learn about the old lifestyle and traditions of the local people.

After exploring Daxu ancient town  your driver will drive you back to the city center to visit the elephant trunk hill park to see the landmark of the city. Then you will walk for 10mins to the lakeside to see the sun and moon pagodas which is the business card of Guilin city, after the city highlight tour our driver and guide will take you safely back to your hotel.

Day1 Guilin---Yangshuo--Moon Hill--Big Banyan Tree--Yangshuo--Impression Liusanjie.Nightstay in Yangshuo.
Morning, head to Yangshuo, the best of Guilin, then visit Moon Hill, Big Banyan Tree Park, by cycling in the beautiful countryside of Yangshuo. Afternoon, easy walk in the West street in the center of Yangshuo’s prosperity, find a nice dinner place for your stomach. Evening watch the well-known night show called Impression Liusanjie which is directed by Zhangyimou --the very director of 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony. Be prepared to be shockingly impressed by the visual dream in reality.

Day2 Yangshuo--Yangdi--Xingping--Silver Cave--Yangshuo. Nightstay in Yangshuo.
Morning, drive out for a bamboo boat rafting from Yangdi to Xingping, sit and enjoy essence of Guilin’s chinese-traditional-painting-liked landscape. Visit Xingping old town at the rafting end, Afternoon, visit Silver Cave--one of 10 best spots of Guilin. Night, Be free like a bird.

Day3 Guilin--Yangshuo--Ping’an. Nightstay in Ping’an.
Morning, drive back Guilin for a visit to Diecai Hill, take a bird’s eye view of this beautiful city as the last sight and goodbye, then long drive to Ping’an where the Minority Zhuang & Yao have been living for centuries. After hotel check-in, Climb up to some spots to enjoy the amazing picture drawn by parallel lines of fields. If weather allows. Stay longer for the sunset. Night, relax with quietness and forget the city life for one night.

Day4 Ping’an--Golden Hole- Nightstay in Chengyang.
Morning, pack snacks and water for a classic hike(4.5hours) from Ping’an to Golden hole. go through mountains to appreciate different parts of terrace.( An easier option: drive in another direction to Golden Hole). After it, leave for Chengyan in Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, where we can experience the rich culture of Dong People, visit the marvelous Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge--the most well-known architecture in Dong culture, then take an easy walk in 8 Dong villages to see local’s everyday life and listen to Dong songs with beautiful harmony.

Day5 Chengyang---Zhaoxing in Guizhou Province. Nightstay in Zhaoxing.
Morning, Drive to Zhaoxing crossing the border between Guangxi and Guizhou Province for a tour in the biggest Dong village in China. When get to Tang’an village located on the top of mountain, we could hike down to Zhaoxing, and meet our van at the foot. Afternoon, visit the surroundings to explore more in this well-known village.
                                                       
Day6 Zhaoxing--Congjiang---Biasha. Nightstay in Congjiang.
Morning,Walk in the morning of Zhaoxing to experience the fresh view in a different time. visit the Dong museum to know every aspect of this minority,Afternoon, At noon, drive 2 hours to Congjiang, pay a tour to Biasha Miao Village,where lives the last gunner tribe of China.
                                                      
Day 7 Congjiang--Kaili--Xijiang.Nightstay in Xijiang.
A day on the wheels, long drive. If time allows, visit Langde village where resides long-skirt Miao. Night, enjoy the night scene of Xijiang Thousand Family Village--the biggest Miao village in China.

                                
Day8 Day6 Xijiang--Kaili--Zhenyuan. Nightstay in Zhenyuan.
Morning, Explore Xijiang on foot with camera, get to know Miao by visiting the museum and village. Afternoon,drive to Zhengyuan ancient town. Night, be ready to be amazed by it at night.(An option:Boat trip on the river)
                                                                  
Day9 Zhenyuan--Guiyang.
Morning, hike up to the top of Zhenyuan for a bird eye view. Visit Qinglongdong Temple to know the history of Zhenyuan.
Afternoon, Leave for Guiyang. Happy Ending.

Day 6 Golden Whip Stream--Yuanjiajie. Nightstay in Wulingyuan
Morning,walk along the beautiful Gold Whip Stream for 2.5 hours, listening to the sound of nature. Afternoon. take the world highest sightseeing elevator (Bailong) up to  Yuanjiajie area for the spectacular view of sandstone peak forest.,it's the background of the Movie:Avatar.(If time allows, bus to its neighbor Yangjiajie for an wild hike to Natural Great Wall at Fubogong, then continue to  Tianzi Mount  for the panorama of  Avatar World. Stay overnight outside or on the top of the park.)

DAY7 Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon--Zhangjiajie downtown--Tujia folk Park. Nightstay in Zhangjiajie Downtown.
Morning, drive to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon for a Canyon trip, meanwhile, experience the world highest and longest glass bridge, afternoon, go back to Zhangjiajie downtown, get to know the minority Tujia by visiting Tujia Folk Park where the world highest stilt house lies.

Day 8 Tianmen Mountain--Junsheng Sandstone Gallery.
Spend a whole day in Tianmen Mount, take the world longest cablecar  to the top, do circled tour  to see the different spectacularity of Karst Landform, then reach the Tianmen hole by world longest escalator, then bus down to the mount foot  on the breathtakingly zigzag road.  Afternoon, we conclude this wonderful 8-day tour by enjoying the unique local art at Junsheng Sandstone Gallery.
